Florence and the machine.
This took me about an hour.. I must say i've been tempted by to do some speed paint.
I might say i'm a tad bit pleased with this. Sorry its not a horse. While i LOVE my stables and kennels, i just needed some refreshment. I love rhinos. I want one someday, and i want to cuddle with it and ride it into the sunset. Just saying. i'm tempted to put some in my ranch.. XD RHINO REVOLUTION!!

This is a beautiful work and very realistic - nearly as realistic as a real photo. I love the shading, each tone of grey, black and white is in the right place to create total realistic shades!
The facial expression is amazing and I like the fact that the rhino is looking at the viewer. I also like the smoke (?) coming out of its nostrils; this smoke supports the lealistic touch because it looks like the rhino is breathing out. The background is quite simple, but nonetheless chosen brilliantly. Although I wonder if itΒ΄s intended to make it look a little blurred...

This is beautiful! Rhinos are not an easy animal to portray so kudos for pulling it off so well. The anatomy and the painterly use of colors is just gorgeous, and one just doesn't see many exotic animals like this portrayed enough. It very inspirational!

This is very well done.
Β I really like the legs, but I also like the simplicity of the eye. And the ears are great too. Overall I like every bit of this piece, but those points stick out the most for me.

This is great, I think you get the proportions and the folds of the skin perfect, which seem like tricky parts to me. I also really like the blue on the legs, it adds a nice contrast to the background.
I agree that rhinos are lovely animals, far too unappreciated. The idea of you adding some to your stables is awesome, that would be so fun and unique!
