Chamber Made - Part 1

They met side by side as they walk briskly down the corridor together, patent heels clicking against the loud, bare floor. Mia was somewhat enthralled by her employer, and somewhat terrified. Even when she smiled, there was always an air of unpredictability about her. She would switch from charming to chilling alarmingly fast and Mia had learned by now to keep out of trouble by doing what was asked of her without argument. Even if her orders were sometimes insane and contradictory, she knew better than to argue. Besides, there was talk of a promotion on the cards.
