Port Aransas on the beach at the rv park.Another misty day but it was beautiful at the beach. There were lots of birds and no people....... just me.
i wish this had been sharper ....... and the mist on my camera wasn't helping.

There's really something about mist isn't there? It's so cold and distant, yet at the same time...I really like it.
I love misty days, no idea why. Although it's so cold, and I really hate cold, I love walking in mist. Maybe it's because there's no one else around, you get to be all alone with your thoughts and emotions. And also, the world seems far away, because of the mist - it's all in a dream-like blur.
Your picture really brought out this feel of passion and exclusiveness I get when there's mist. I can really see you, walking down that misty beach with only a few fluttering birds as company. Sometimes I like animals better than humans. They're not buggy. They want their privacy, you want yours, it's such a mutual realtionship.
As always, you're a great photographer. Hell, you're a great everything.

this one reminds me of time i spent in maine visiting my great grandfather before he died...walking up and down the foggy morning beaches...kicking sand, skipping rocks, diggin' the lighthouses. there's so much beauty in the solitude of nature. nice shot.
