Description
This is a commissioned character class concept design for Dark World Universe....a U.S. based MMORPG being released in October. Marty, as I like to call him, is part of the Martyr Class...a group of individuals who betrayed the Holy Order, but vow to pay for their sins, and fight for good. They are rejected by the Saints, who are in fact what they were before turning to darkness.The artwork is sanctioned for the Dark World Dev Team, and is the first full figure concept artwork for the Class, completed by myself.

You obviously don't like (or want) to paint feet ^^.
It's very beautiful. Altough I'm not sure about the helmet around the eyes. I think there should be some dark brown colours to depict skin tone in-stead of the dull blackness it has now.
And I wouldn't really want to bear such a heavy weapon all the time, I hope he has a horse or something similiar.
I just imagine him reading some holy lines over the dying bodies of his foes to free their souls or something fanatic like that!
There's almost nothing to be found about this game on the net so far, it looks promising. Could be a good game if it's going to be more real than today's fantasy MMORPGs.
Very nice idea, I am looking forward to seeing more art from you, definitely worth watching.

Hahaha thanks for the fun comment Alfisko. Yeah i cant say much about the game, but its a Mod that is coming out in late October. I just got on board with the concept art team, but its fairly lenient right now.
I feel ya on the black void behind the mask. Its a good critique and one i wont forget in the future. As for his synopsis, the Martyr character class are fallen disciples of a larger Clan. They roam the wastelands separately and destroy evil for salvation from their sins. I wont say anymore though! No public announcements have been made about "the game" but DA promotional artwork will come out in the future.
