Description
full title: refurbish your own journal.WARNING: HUGE FILE!
I recently refurbished my own journal for the upcoming school year and thought, there might be other handy people interested in this! Most people are afraid that once you do something to your journal it completely falls apart and is not savable. Well no more! This tutorial is primarily to show where to cut and give some insight in how a journal can be taken apart. You can look up other tutorials on basic bookbinding to find a better understanding in this.
Feel free to ask me some questions!

Very useful! I'm assuming that you can do this with any book, not just journals? I'll make sure to try this as soon as I have some money to spare. xD

special glue from my local bookbinder.
So it doesn't wrinkle the paper as much as regular glue would.

That's so much fun, brings back memories studying Graphic Design & Management we actually made a book in class by doing all the necessary steps of making it, including a hand sewn binding, a glued binding, still use the A3 sized map I made and covered for storing antique fashion magazines
Very nice tutorial! I hope many are inspired

I hope it's clear.
Yeah, I also do bookbinding with doing everything from scrap. This is the easier version in witch you don't have to cut the blookblock or the cover to size.
Thanks
