Description
Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not saying people should stop using it altogether. However, I often see people relying a bit too much on it and its female counterpart. I've seen DA galleries that are nothing but "dolls" made with them. To boot, there are a lot of creative characters out there with features beyond the dollmakers' capabilities. I can name a number of my own characters as examples; I looked over the menus and saw no sign of inline skates, multiple heads, or Double Cutters. It may be a good brainstorming tool for beginners, but nobody can be a beginner all their lives.I may or may not make a female dollmaker stamp to go with this one. I'm not sure whether being redundant is better or worse than being sexist.

I totally agree with you. There are people with galleries full of dolls, instead of real work of them. I used it myself, but only for inspiration and I don't post them. I prefer way better to do my own stuff instead of relaying in someone else's program.

Funny thing, that's how the creator of the doll-maker originally WANTED it to be used! XD

You know, to be honest I was expecting the first comment on this stamp to be a flaming rebuttal. But this is good too, I suppose.
