I don't mind people writing this and that about the rivalry between Sonic and Mario, but most people (most!) seem to assume that it's the only way to go. I mean, just because the two (and soon, three) games they've appeared together in are centered around competition doesn't mean it's all they can do, does it? I for one am a firm believer that they can bury the hatchet and fight alongside each other, rather than against each other.The Mario's sprite from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga; I downloaded it just for this stamp. The Sonic sprite's from Sonic Advance 2; I had it saved on my hard drive for who knows how long.
Just because we've never seen it happen doesn't mean it can't. And I'm absolutely sure it can. Who's with me?

Note: I did not know of Super Mario Bros. Z at the time that I made this stamp. Now, thanks to those who have commented on it, I am very adequately informed.

I personally prefer Mario and Sonic gets along alot.
In facts, I like both Super Mario and Sonic since I grew up with Super Mario on SNES and N64 era during 90s and Sonic on Mega Collection for GameCube aka classic Sonic from Sega Genesis era on 2004.

It's mostly the fans that start all this crap. I like both Mario and Sonic.Seriously who cares about that Mario vs.Sonic crap. Even though I am a fan of both games,at least I don't go around telling people that Mario sucks Sonic is the best or Sonic sucks Mario is the best! People who are like this don't really know how to keep opinions like that unfortunately that's not how the internet works.

I'm totally with you! I know Sonic characters because of the game Mario & Sonic Beijing 2008, and since then (I was in 2010 when I played it for the first time) I always drew the two franchises characters together in my comics and in drawings... and so I do now, since I like all the charactersΒ Β

Screw that Mario vs. Sonic bullsh!t. It pisses me off every time I see something Mario vs. Sonic related. Also it's extremely annoying to see a fanboy pointlessly ramble on about how they think the character they like more kicks the other character's @$$. Just try to take this seriously: "Sonic is way better than Mario. Mario sucks Nintendo can go die in a fire. Sonic is the best game ever and sega is king of the gaming market." I may like Mario more than sonic but I'd rather see them and the fans getting along than even make sonic boom better and that's saying a lot.
