the next following day, Matt was seen practicing with his band for the Twin Seeds Festival, which was only a few days away, as he played on his keyboard guitar, playing a part of the the song called ''Dreams Dreams''. one of the band members, a girl named May, was singing the following:

May: (singing)

''In the nights, dream delight.
I want to see you standing there.
In the nights, dream delight.
I found someone who really cares.''

Matt: (thinking) I wonder what NiGHTS is doing right now. I do hope she's okay.

May: (singing)

''In the nights, dream delight.
I want to see you smile again.
In the nights, dream delight.
you're the one I've waited for.''

(as soon as Matt finished playing that song, he looks up at the clock.)

Matt: Well, that's all for today! well done, everyone!

(moments later, Matt was walking home with May by his side.)

Matt: I know I'm saying this a lot, but you have a lovely singing voice, May!

May: Thanks, Matt! I've been working on my voice for quite some time!

Matt: I can see that! hey, wanna grab a bite to eat?

May: Yeah! all this practicing sure made me hungry! -w-

Matt: Then let's go!

(as Matt and May went over to grab something to eat, the orange haired young musician recalls his childhood years when he first met May. she was bullied by some mean girls often and didn't have many friends. Matt could not sit by and watch someone, especially someone of his age get mistreated. he immediately stood up for May and drove away the three bullies from her. May kept crying and Matt was there to comfort her when she needed it most. she revealed that her mother recently died from a traffic accident. her father ran away, abandoning her as result due to his grief. so she lived with her grandparents, and had a little sister to care for, which was why she had trouble making friends. Matt completely sympathized with May, saying that his mother died from an illness when he was only 3 years old, and his father raised him on his own to the best of his ability... still, that doesn't mean he doesn't grieve his mother often. and if May didn't have friends because of it, he will gladly be her friend. and so, he extended his hand, and May gladly and tearfully took it with a small smile, as the two became the best of friends they are today.)

(Later that night...)

Bendy: Hey, Sophies! can you two tell us a story?

Bailey: yeah! like a story about mermaids, pirates, vikings, angels, dragons, knights! anything! OwO

Sophia: O.O ???

Sophie: well...I can't say I do have a good story to tell. but I did hear of a creepy legend Gloria told me! -w-

Bendy: Oh? OwO

Sophie: there's a legend about mirrors that says that on the other side of the mirror, lies a dark parallel dimension. and if you look at the mirror during the night of a full moon, you'll be sucked into it. and once you're inside, you'll never be able to escape from the world inside the mirror. you'll be trapped there forever.

Bailey: Is this legend true? OmO

Sophie: no one really knows. It's an old European legend that was made to scare people. -w-

Sophia: God forbid if one would get sucked into a mirror during a full moon! -w-'

Bailey: Great, now I can't look at mirrors the same way again! >^<'

Bendy: Relax, B. the two Sophies say that this story can't be real! or can it? 7w7

Bailey: Bendyyyy! >^<

Bendy: (Chuckles at Bailey's response) XD

Sophie: (sighs, looks at the full moon that was rising in the night sky) -w-

(later, as Matt went to sleep, he found himself in the Dream Gate once again after so long. this time, he was joined by Donna.)

Donna: Hello, Matt!

Matt: Hey, Donna! good to see you here again!

(the two then look to see Sophie landing on her feet as she was the last one to arrive at the Dream Gate tonight.)

Sophie: Oh! hey there guys! Matt and Donna, right?

Matt: That's right!

Donna: and you're Sophie, if I recall correctly?

Sophie: Uh-huh! here to spend another night in the dream world as usual!

Matt: aren't we all? (smiles, looks around) Hey! where's NiGHTS?

Sophie: Huh? (looks around as well) Lana isn't here too!

Donna: Maybe they're in that door over there? O.O (points at another door to Nightopia)

(the three visitors walk over to the door to nightopia. Matt opens the door, which took him, Donna and Sophie to a rainy landscape with ruins of what appears to be an ancient castle. thunders were booming loudly and lightnings flashed in the cloudy sky. there, they see NiGHTS playing ''dreams dreams'' on her dream flute, while hiding inside the cave along with Lana and a few other Nightopians.)

Sophie: Damn, that's one hard rain! >~O

Donna: look, there are NiGHTS and Lana!

(the three ran to the cave where the nightopians and two nightmarens were in to take shelter from this powerful storm.)

NiGHTS: oh, hello again, Sophie, Matt, Donna!

Lana: I'm glad you managed to get here safely.

Donna: NiGHTS! thank goodness you're really okay! Claris told us about what happened to you, and-

NiGHTS: It's alright now, Donna! nothing bad happened to me in the waking world! OwO

Lana: Whose dream world has this much of a powerful storm? O.O

Matt: oh, uhh...this is my dream world.

(they all look at Matt.)

Sophie: this rainy landscape is your dream world, Matt?

Matt: yeah. when I was a kid, I had this huge fear of thunderstorms. I had no problem with rain in general, but every time I heard the thunder booming and saw lightnings flash, I'd immediately go hide under the blankets. and while outside during a thunderstorm, I'd cling to my father often, and he would ease the fear I felt and tell me stories as distraction. -w- I still am scared of thunderstorms, but not as much as I was as a child. I even have a childhood best friend who is still scared of thunderstorms, and I'm doing my best to be there for her just as my father's been there for me, like any good friend should.

Sophie: in that case, I'd have to warn you about Annie and Lightning, two friends of mine who have power over thunderstorms. -w-'

Matt: Oh boy. -w-;

Donna: (looks over at the rain) doesn't look like the rain would subside any time soon, is it?

Lana: Indeed. the storm appears to be too strong... due to a particular emotion within Matt's heart.

Matt: w-what?

Lana: Matt...is there something that has been troubling you as of late in the waking world?

Matt: well...to tell the truth, (sadly) I have been missing my mother. she died when I was really young from an illness. and I often look at photos of her, as they serve as the only way I can see her physically. there are times it brings me comfort, and other times, it brings me pain that all I can do is cry, wishing she was here with me and father today.

NiGHTS: I'm really sorry to hear that, Matt. but at least you're still alive to carry on your mother's memory.

Donna: the fact that you're alive means you're a lot stronger than you think you are!

Sophie: I've seen people I care about die, but even that didn't stop me from continuing forward and live. from what I can tell, your mother would be so proud.

Matt: (smiles a bit) Yeah... I guess you're right.

Lana: UwU

(Lana looks at Matt a bit. after hearing what he had said, she recalls a memory from her past. she remembers herself crying in her older sister's lap after being punished by Wizeman.)

(FLASHBACK)

Lana: ,>A<,

Lumen: Shhh...shhh... its okay, Lana. it doesn't matter what Wizeman and anyone else does to us.

Lana: (looks up at the lavender and violet nightmaren that was her sister) QmQ

Lumen: in this realm of nightmare, you look out for me, and I look out for you. nothing really bad is going to happen as long as we have each other.

Lana: But... (sniffles) what did I do wrong? what did I do to cause Master Wizeman to get angry with me? Q~Q

Lumen: nothing, Lana. he is just under a lot of pressure with his plans. so its best to leave him be for now. -w- (dries her little sister's tears)

Lana: (sniffles) ,>~Q

Lumen: for the time being, how about we go out and help the other nightmarens? I heard Seria is in need of tools to continue casting her magic. how about it? OwO

Lana: (Sniffles, wipes her tears and smiles) Okay! OwO we'll go! and Lumen?

Lumen: Yes? OwO

Lana: We'll...always be together, right?

Lumen: yes. we were born as sisters, of course we will remain beside one another.

Lana: Yay! ^w^

(FLASHBACK END)

(Lana looks down, with a sad look in her eyes as she remembered Lumen.)

NiGHTS: (places her hand on her shoulder, concerned) Lana? are you okay?

Lana: H-Huh? oh...yes... I'm fine. I just remembered my older sister whom I lost so long ago. -~-

NiGHTS: You had a sister?

Lana: her name was Lumen. and she was one, if not the only nightmaren who was there for me when I was still in the nightmare realm. it still pains me to talk about and remember her, with the knowledge that she's never coming back after what happened to her. (sighs, trying to gain her composure.)

Sophie: Uhhh, Guys? Nightmaren alert! O~O

(the Lythian saw a horde of third level nightmarens invading the Rainy Ruins.)

Lana: they've come here after Matt's Ideya!

NiGHTS: Donna, stay here with the Nightopians! Sophie, Matt, Lana, you're coming with me!

(Matt and Sophie nodded. Matt dualized with NiGHTS  to protect his dream world from the influence of Nightmare. Matt breathed in slowly while inside of NiGHTS, prepared to face his fear of thunderstorms once again.  Lana and Sophie follow them along to take down the third level nightmarens that consisted of Awakers, Shleeps, Eelons, Deworms and Beezes.

the four flew through the ruins of an ancient castle, in and out, using the wind currents that were present to support their flight as the rain continued to fall, thunders boom and lightnings strike.

NiGHTS as always, used her drill dashes and paraloops, along with Lana's Lunakinesis, Marksmanship and swordsmanship, and Sophie's thunder and water elemental skills.  NiGHTS even put on her persona mask to turn herself into a dolphin to drive away the third level nightmarens.

it didn't take too long for them to defeat the horde of the third level nightmarens. then, a bright turquoise light appeared descending down from the dark clouds above. it was the Turquoise Ideya of Amity, which went over to NiGHTS, as she absorbed it into the red gem on her chest.

and just like last time, NiGHTS was surprised to see a turquoise colored spear appearing in her hands. and then, everything went white for a moment, engulfing NiGHTS, Lana, Matt and Sophie.)

(when everything turned normal, the four found themselves inside of what appears to be a medieval arena. there were colorful tents at every direction, and since they were outside, the rain kept falling a little less harder than before.)

NiGHTS: What is this? it looks like an arena! O.O

???: Indeed it is. you now stand in my arena!

(the four look to see a Knight-like Nightmaren clothed in gold, silver and blue armor, holding out his lance.)

Sophie: Holy Moly! By the looks of that armor, I suppose you're some kind of Knight? O.O

???: yes. I am Fleur, a second level nightmaren who is a Knight and loyal servant of Master Wizeman! and since you made it this far...NiGHTS! (points his lance at her) I hereby challenge you to a duel!

NiGHTS: Since you were obviously sent by Wizeman, (grips the Turquoise Spear) I accept your challenge! (turns to Lana and Sophie who both braced themselves) it's me he wants, so you'd best stay out of this one. I'll handle him.

(Lana and Sophie both look at each other before nodding, letting NiGHTS take on the Knight of Nightmare.)

Fleur: Anytime I am called upon to fulfill Master Wizeman's requests, I will fulfill them to their fullest, no questions asked.

NiGHTS: Just like any other nightmaren who's loyal to him would say!

(Fleur and NiGHTS stared at each other, gripping their weapons tightly, before they charge at each other at full speed. the two nightmarens clashed their weapons, sparks were flying from them.)

Fleur: and you're a fool for your lack of loyalty to Wizeman, and your treachery. when I beat you, I will take this visitor's ideya and give it to my Master!

(Fleur's abilities stem from his relentless jousting skills, as the joy of battle enthralled him, giving him great pride in what he is accomplishing from his missions given to him by his creator.

to defeat Fleur, NiGHTS had to disarm him of his weapon with her Turquoise Spear, while she had to avoid being disarmed of her weapon herself and take damage.

their clash of weapons lasted for about two minutes, as Sophie and Lana watched anxiously as NiGHTS fought the second level nightmaren valiantly. Fleur used his shield for both defense and offense purposes, using his Shield Rush attack whenever he finds his chance. Fleur  even had his persona mask with him. when he wore his mask, he transformed into a tiger and his strength and speed is greatly increased for a short period of time. Fleur used his claws and pouncing skills, and his lance is mounted to his shoulder for impaling the enemy. He is unable to hold this form for long, as his power is drained at a great pace.

eventually, NiGHTS managed to take this chance to disarm Fleur of his lance after breaking his shield, and she defeated him with the single swing of her spear, causing him to collapse on the ground.)

Fleur: N-No...I cannot believe this! Forgive me, Master. I have failed...! (to NiGHTS as he grabs his lance) you fought well, NiGHTS, but this is not over yet!

(Fleur flew away, as he was defeated in the duel challenge against that traitorous first level nightmaren. Fleur disappeared, the Turquoise Spear vanished from NiGHTS' hands, as the Ideya of Amity shone its bright light in her chest, spreading its bright Turquoise colored light across the stormy sky. the rain stops, as a rainbow appears over the sky when the sun is finally coming out. Nightopians looked at the bright Turquoise light and the rainbow that shone in the distance, and cheered, knowing that their home was saved from the terror of Nightmare once again. thus, NiGHTS secured the Turquoise Ideya of Amity, and saved Matt's Dream world.)

(meanwhile in the waking world, Aaron the Hedgehog came home, frustrated from what happened a few moments ago. he once again took a beating from Harry the Wolf and his two friends while on his way home, and he himself tried to put up a fight against his childhood bullies. but as always, Harry once again savored his victory over this primary weak, autistic victim.

he decides to take a quick shower to clean himself of the dirt and bruises he received, before heading to bed. )

Aaron: (thinking as he looked at himself in the mirror of his room after dressing up) Tomorrow, I'm leaving Soleanna. that's right. I'm not gonna continue on here, not when Harry and his gang are here. and when I do, I will go find Sonic and the others. and then, Harry's not gonna be a problem anymore! (looks down) still...all I do is embarrass myself. getting myself into trouble...will I always be like this? why? why am I the one who's always getting kicked around in every situation?

(the mirror turned black and a taunting voice came speaking to him...)

''Maybe it would be better if you just die...!''

Aaron: ( his eyes became pale as he stared at the mirror) yeah...people like myself shouldn't exist in this world.

''That's right! you should just die!''

Aaron: I should just...die. =.=

(hearing what he just said, Aaron's eyes immediately turned to normal. and he saw his reflection in the mirror, having pale eyes, and there was a pitch black orb pulsating in the middle of his chest. it was a mysterious Black Ideya, that is pulsing inside of his heart.)

Aaron: (unnerved) Wh-what is this...? what is this thing in my chest? its not Mephiles' curse! is it? no...its not THAT curse. whatever it is, it isn't good at all!

(Aaron's reflection then disappeared, and we hear an evil distorted cackling from inside the mirror...the mirror turned black, and two clawed hands came out, grabbing Aaron in an instant. the brown hedgehog screamed and struggled as the hands were dragging him inside of the mirror. he grabbed onto both sides of the mirror, only to scream in terror as he lost his hold on the edges, and was dragged into the dark world from inside of the mirror...right on the night where the full moon shone its bright light.)

Sophie: Holy Moly! By the looks of that armor, I suppose you're some kind of Knight? O.O

???: yes. I am Fleur, a second level nightmaren who is a Knight and loyal servant of Master Wizeman! and since you made it this far...NiGHTS! (points his lance at her) I hereby challenge you to a duel!

NiGHTS: Since you were obviously sent by Wizeman, (grips the Turquoise Spear) I accept your challenge! (turns to Lana and Sophie who both braced themselves) it's me he wants, so you'd best stay out of this one. I'll handle him.

(Lana and Sophie both look at each other before nodding, letting NiGHTS take on the Knight of Nightmare.)

Fleur: Anytime I am called upon to fulfill Master Wizeman's requests, I will fulfill them to their fullest, no questions asked.

NiGHTS: Just like any other nightmaren who's loyal to him would say!

(Fleur and NiGHTS stared at each other, gripping their weapons tightly, before they charge at each other at full speed. the two nightmarens clashed their weapons, sparks were flying from them.)

Fleur: and you're a fool for your lack of loyalty to Wizeman, and your treachery. when I beat you, I will take this visitor's ideya and give it to my Master!

(Fleur's abilities stem from his relentless jousting skills, as the joy of battle enthralled him, giving him great pride in what he is accomplishing from his missions given to him by his creator.

to defeat Fleur, NiGHTS had to disarm him of his weapon with her Turquoise Spear, while she had to avoid being disarmed of her weapon herself and take damage.

their clash of weapons lasted for about two minutes, as Sophie and Lana watched anxiously as NiGHTS fought the second level nightmaren valiantly. Fleur used his shield for both defense and offense purposes, using his Shield Rush attack whenever he finds his chance. Fleur  even had his persona mask with him. when he wore his mask, he transformed into a tiger and his strength and speed is greatly increased for a short period of time. Fleur used his claws and pouncing skills, and his lance is mounted to his shoulder for impaling the enemy. He is unable to hold this form for long, as his power is drained at a great pace.

eventually, NiGHTS managed to take this chance to disarm Fleur of his lance after breaking his shield, and she defeated him with the single swing of her spear, causing him to collapse on the ground.)

Fleur: N-No...I cannot believe this! Forgive me, Master. I have failed...! (to NiGHTS as he grabs his lance) you fought well, NiGHTS, but this is not over yet!

(Fleur flew away, as he was defeated in the duel challenge against that traitorous first level nightmaren. Fleur disappeared, the Turquoise Spear vanished from NiGHTS' hands, as the Ideya of Amity shone its bright light in her chest, spreading its bright Turquoise colored light across the stormy sky. the rain stops, as a rainbow appears over the sky when the sun is finally coming out. Nightopians looked at the bright Turquoise light and the rainbow that shone in the distance, and cheered, knowing that their home was saved from the terror of Nightmare once again. thus, NiGHTS secured the Turquoise Ideya of Amity, and saved Matt's Dream world.)

(meanwhile in the waking world, Aaron the Hedgehog came home, frustrated from what happened a few moments ago. he once again took a beating from Harry the Wolf and his two friends while on his way home, and he himself tried to put up a fight against his childhood bullies. but as always, Harry once again savored his victory over this primary weak, autistic victim.

he decides to take a quick shower to clean himself of the dirt and bruises he received, before heading to bed. )

Aaron: (thinking as he looked at himself in the mirror of his room after dressing up) Tomorrow, I'm leaving Soleanna. that's right. I'm not gonna continue on here, not when Harry and his gang are here. and when I do, I will go find Sonic and the others. and then, Harry's not gonna be a problem anymore! (looks down) still...all I do is embarrass myself. getting myself into trouble...will I always be like this? why? why am I the one who's always getting kicked around in every situation?

(the mirror turned black and a taunting voice came speaking to him...)

''Maybe it would be better if you just die...!''

Aaron: ( his eyes became pale as he stared at the mirror) yeah...people like myself shouldn't exist in this world.

''That's right! you should just die!''

Aaron: I should just...die. =.=

(hearing what he just said, Aaron's eyes immediately turned to normal. and he saw his reflection in the mirror, having pale eyes, and there was a pitch black orb pulsating in the middle of his chest. it was a mysterious Black Ideya, that is pulsing inside of his heart.)

Aaron: (unnerved) Wh-what is this...? what is this thing in my chest? its not Mephiles' curse! is it? no...its not THAT curse. whatever it is, it isn't good at all!

(Aaron's reflection then disappeared, and we hear an evil distorted cackling from inside the mirror...the mirror turned black, and two clawed hands came out, grabbing Aaron in an instant. the brown hedgehog screamed and struggled as the hands were dragging him inside of the mirror. he grabbed onto both sides of the mirror, only to scream in terror as he lost his hold on the edges, and was dragged into the dark world from inside of the mirror...right on the night where the full moon shone its bright light.)
