EWN-003/Shadow ManWeapon: Chaos Cannon
Weakness: Tail Wind
Just my quick take on what Shadow Man from the first Worlds Collide arc of Sonic/Megaman should have looked like. I made Shadow Man a bit more Robot Master-like rather than him being Roboticized and having Megaman parts slapped on.

Gotta be honest:Β not sure what's so impressive about these.Β The designs are alright, but the pose and even the new features are straight-up taken from preexisting concept art of other Robot Masters.Β Tails-Man is Gyro-Man, Knuckles-Man is Knight-Man, Blaze-Woman is Burner-Man, Shadow-Man here is Flash-Man...I can't pin them all but I know they all are.Β Furthermore, it's now a Sonic character in aesthetic alone, reallyβaside from the name and a few stray visual aspects such as the eyes, it's purely a Robot Master from the ground up (And not a very exciting one, at that).
The design choices in the Roboticized Masters were designed to reflect the higher-tier Robot creations that Eggman had created as well (Gamma, Omega, etc.), which explains some of the more bizarre choices like the eye style, which I didn't get at first, and while I do think that could have been better reflected, I can hardly see this as a step forward.

Alright, that's a fair and honest opinion/review.
Yes, I did take my concepts from pre-existing robot masters in how I chose to design their bodies. And yes, some are much more brutal than others. However, I still did not outright copy the robot master designs entirely, nor did I trace them.
Thank you for enlightening me on your knowledge of how the Roboticized Masters might have been conceived, or if you were actually an artist for the comic, how they were conceived.

Well, I can't be certain, but everything I've heard and seen about Worlds Collide suggests that they were very serious about representing both series almost completely and equally (Which is why a ton of Robot Masters that were far from even appearing in the Mega Man continuity got away with appearing in it).Β It's an assumption I've had to make, but one that seems logical to me.
If you want a more concrete answer, though, RyanJampole ( ryanjampole.deviantart.com/ ), one of the comic's artists, is here on DeviantART, and communicates with fans fairly regularly.Β I'm sure he'd be willing to give you an answer.

Hmm, no Rouge Woman?
Anyway I see your point that EWN were could looke more like Robot Masters, however that would bring new problem: they would still have personalities (you can't keep them silent with normal faces). I'm not sure if it would work, them having old personalities yet still working for doctors.

Well, Rouge Woman looked close enough to a Robot Master that I didn't feel a need to redraw her.
And that's a fair point, although I'm sure they didn't have free will while being the Roboticized Masters. Leaving them with their personalities and able to talk might be a good psychological tactic.

True, but imagine it from story perspective.
Should they just be all like "Sonic save us!"/ "Sorry Sonic, I can't control myself."
It would be annoying pretty quickly, plus make their fight with Protoman a little weird.
So should they all be like Robot Master, free will but total obedience for Doctors?
The difference is that Robot Masters weren't Rock's friends before, so they were Ok with fighting him.

Little non sequitor,Β what's your opinion on Robocizied Master?
For me they were dissapointment (like 90% of crossover honestly). Part 5 ended with this 'omg, heroes Vs EW Number, this will be awesome', only to make deux ex machina cure and split them into 4 easily defitable teams, to fill out the issues. Kinda lame.
