the sequel pic of the "drakeling" . the young example who ive started to call "Gene" has matured into his adult stage.when fully mature, common drakes stand around 5-9 feet tall.
drakes use their natural shapeshifting abilities to hide their wings in the spikes on their backs.
while Gene is a fire drake and this doesnt stand as an example for the other elements appearance, he is a good example of basic drake anatomy and an ideal example of a citizen so i have decided to draw him unclothed and in a basic stance for future reference and acting as my updated pic of drake anatomy. before anyone asks, this image is 100% accurate to the anatomy. i have left nothing out but the wings which i may add later.
it is important to note that no two drakes look alike and all of them have unique and extreme differing features that in some cases make them look like another species.
