Description
This is one of the megaman characters who I've been working to build sprites with. Okay, its not actually complete. I'm sure there are more poses he could have and some of the sprites are rather "not perfect." Oh, well.Any sprites that are inside the crimson rectangles are made by Capcom.
The rest are mine.
Now here's a "short" description:
Name: Blues/Breakman (Japan), Protoman (US, Europe)
Before the construction of Rock and Dr. Wily's evil schemes for world domination, Dr. Light and Dr. Wily created the first robot with a human-like AI. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, Blues ran away from the lab and disappeared. In response to this, Rock was built to replace Blues. Despite his outdated nature, Blues possessed many qualities that surpassed his robotic siblings. Blues had a special shield that could withstand an intense amount of damage, similar to the material found in Metool helmets. Blues also possessed the ability to teleport to any locations he chose. He even had the ability to dash, although for distances shorter than most robots. His buster was considerably stronger than Rock's but lacked the ability to charge. Blues, however, was able to build a new buster that enable a charger, which when overcharged allows for his powerful special attack, the Blues Strike. With that, Blues discarded his old buster, which was later found. Blues finally came out of hiding when Dr. Wily attempted to frame him with a replica named Darkman. Blues's also made an appearance, waiting in Shademan's lair to give Rock his shield. Blues also appeared during the attack of King, but was unsuccessful. After King's defeat, Blues went off on his own mysterious path. Following the cataclysm that would eventually lead to the Megaman X series, Blues's status remains as mysterious as his own nature.

Really good work. I like how the flipped side isn't just a mirror image.

heh, nice, you actually made it a real left-right side xD not just a mirror flip, few games had those (and not megaman, lol)
Cool stuff.

Yeah, I figured that since Blues was an older robot design, his buster wouldn't be retractable (turns into a hand). With that in mind, I painstakingly did sprites to match that idea.

Sweet sprite edits! Actually look like they came out of a Megaman game.

Thanks. That's the point. I wanted to get as close to the original game as possible, except with a twist.

Ooooh. I was a little confused as to why you submitted a sprite sheet of Protoman until I read your blurb. So you "expanded" his range of movements

He also made the flipped version, which, in case you didin't notice, isin't only a mirror image.
