Description Sold off my FansProject Car Crash (not-Breakdown) and T-Bone (not-Wildrider) and used some of the money to get Perfect Effect Scouting Force X (aka not-Reflector).

They're definitely a lot better than the not-Stunticons. FansProject's stuff has been downhill since they're initial not-Insecticon figures.

Yeah, these little guys seem to be great. And they'd go perfectly with my Classics Decepticons. How tall are they, anyways? Basic-sized or close to it or somewhere between that and a deluxe figure?

Definitely not Scout-sized; they're smaller than that.

Eh. I was really hoping for at least scout-sized. Now that's a bit dissapointing.

Wild guess, the camera is about life-sized possibly?

I like the size that they used, it feels right for my Classics display. Scout-sized figures would've been nice but that would've bumped up their price and tiny, super detailed figures were sort of Perfect Effect's thing before they started making the Arcee/Blackarachnia bikes.

I chose the PE one over TFC's because I don't like the aesthetics that TFC's robots have; they look despite the fact that they form a very nice, realistic camera. TFC's Photron is also too big since Viewfinder's a Deluxe while the others are a tad bit smaller.

I always want these little guys, but still couldn't make the purchase. What surprised me is you selling non-Stunticons. Does that mean you will pass non-Menasor? Any reason? I know many people don't like their scale.

I haven't bought any FP stuffs after Bruticus upgrade set and Warbot Defender (although he is somewhat disappointing, I'm satisfied him being Springer) and this year all my toy fund went to MMC's Sixshot and Predaking.

Yeah, I'm passing on the Intimidator set. I haven't really been pleased with FP's QC, customer service, and lack of communication for a few years now.

The size of the not-Stunticons doesn't bother and they're pretty sound, but they're just not... fun. The transformations are simplistic on paper, but in actuality they're quite a chore due to the large amount of force that has to be applied to certain areas and although the plastic quality is good, you still feel like you might break something. Some people have even had to mod their figures right out of the box to make sure that things fit and tab together properly.

You'll also note that CC and TB have backpacks that can be positioned to form a shin guard of sorts for Menasor when combined. This hinge is rather simplistic and should be easily folded back to replicate what's seen here with the rear ends of their vehicle modes splitting into three segments: [link] (1)__scaled_600.jpg

Some people can't position the "trunk" into place without having to sand the part down a bit. For this price point, the figures should be almost flawless, not a nightmare to mess around with. Some people on the forums have even been drawn blood handling these guys because a sharp edge may have sliced their finger open lol

It's not necessarily bad. It's just... not as enjoyable as some of us thought it would be.
