Send me a Note if you're interested in commissioning me!______________________________
An incomplete size chart. Not sure if I'll ever finish it. I got as far as sketching out the profile of Megatronus' head before I ran out steam while working on this compilation...
Just a size comparison chart for people that might want to think about drawing the 13. Most of the character designs are final, some recieved further tweaking in pictures that I did of them after this.

That is where you are wrong, dear friend. You see, Darcis is a Prime, and always shall be. When he was first created ((G1)) she was classed as "Too overrated" so they replaced her with Elita-one and Arcee.
Just to prove my point on her actually existing, the TFP Arcee has used some old Darcis parts.
Look at my artwork then look at TFP Arcee, ypou will see what I mean.

Look. Darcis Prime exists, she was just forgotten about! The reason they replaced her is because they didn't want an overrated female Cybertronian. So they split her into two beings. Arcee and Elita-one. ITS SIMPLE BRO. SHE ACTUALLY DID EXIST.

I'm sorry, but unless there's documentation citing statements from Hasbro, IDW (I even chat with a few of the company's writers and artists), or Dreamwave, I'll have to take that statement with a grain of salt.Β

If there was any official documentation, like an article from a reputable source, that made the claim that Peter acknowledged the character, then I'd probably take that claim into consideration.Β
Even if he did state that Sunbow originally planned to make a Darcis Prime, consider this: the idea was scrapped and she was replaced with Elita-1 and Arcee (who had no association with Elita's posse didn't even show up in the show until the '86 movie and second season of the cartoon), as you said so yourself, so it's still not canon.
Also take this into account. This was an idea that was originally planned for G1, as you mentioned. Do you really think they would have thought a character was too overrated? It was the 80s and the show was mean to market the toyline. No one would have even cared that she was overrated, especially the company that would try to market the character. They would have intentionally tried to hype her as much as possible, especially they assigned a toy to the character.Β None of the plot lines were too in depth for the cartoon the sparse amounts of plot that existed was only there to serve that main purpose: to sell toys.

and the point is if she was real and your claiming shes your character now your a plagiarist and I am 33 I've read all the history on the transformers I've meet a few staff from Hasbro and peter Cullen also you don't look more then 20 and transformers came out when I was three and my bro has some of the original books and in none of the pre-concept arts dose that character exist. If she was made before Elita as you claim and your only in your 20's there is no way you where even born then to create her!

You're not going to believe this, but according to the official stuff that I've looked up, the last member of the 13 is actually Optimus Prime from the Prime Continuity. I can hardly believe it myself, but the reason is because the last member threw himself into the Well of Allsparks before getting reformatted into Orion Pax with no memory of who he used to be. Crazy, isn't it?

Yup! I just heard about it the other day from somewhere that read it in the new collectors-styled book. It seems kinda lazy to me that they did it that way, but oh well... they've had worse/lazy plot points.

OMG!!
I'm not the only one who hates Optimus being one of the 13, I mean Optimus is meant to be the everyday guy who became a hero of his people, Not some fucking god.... God damn it, The book had one job and it blew it....
At that rate why not make Megatronus Prime into Megatron?
Hell Soundwave was going to be in the 13 as Logos Prime, look it up in the wiki's if you really want to.
I think Nova Prime should've been the last guy like in my fan stories where he guards hell.
Oh I'm Dex by the way, nice picture.

And while it is interesting, this development presents a number of confusions.Β For one thing, a while back, it was established that Primus, Unicron, and the 13 Primes were multiversal singularities (inter-dimensional beings).Β And that would mean that every version of Optimus Prime out there is actually all the same guy inhabiting all universes at once.Β Which brings up another confusion, trying to apply the 13 origin to all those versions while trying to get it to make sense for each particular universe.Β Quite a lot to wrap your head around isn't it?

I think the Covenant of Primus book should only be taken as the past of the Prime Continuity, Not all Continuitys.
Since in the Japan Beast Wars comic it turns out Soundwave or Logos Prime was one of the 13, I guess they kicked him out for Optimus Prime.
Besides in the movies got it wrong too with there only being 7 Primes.
Hasbro kinda doesn't give a fuck sometimes....

RexBlazer1 In reply to Dehaxis95 [2014-01-09 05:17:27 +0000 UTC]
I know about Logos Prime, and Hasbro just didn't like him enough to use him, so I guess we can consider his story non-canon.Β And I know that the Covenant of Primus book mostly pertains to the past of the Prime continuity, but I'm still under the impression that once you establish something, that means it applies to everything.Β Therefore, since they established that Alpha Trion and Optimus Prime are members of the Thirteen, that means it applies to all of versions of them from across the multiverse.Β That's just how I view it anyway.

Dehaxis95 In reply to RexBlazer1 [2014-01-09 05:20:04 +0000 UTC]
Oh the Prime Continuity is outside of the multiverse kinda like how DC is outside of the Marvel multiverse
Marvel calls such a thing a Ultraverse or Megaverse.

To be honest with the Covenant of Primus book n that I'll take it most of it as cannon but only for the first 12 guys, The 13th Prime will always just be "13 Prime" for my taste since Optimus Prime isn't even in some stories.
IDW was going to have the 13th Prime be Star Saber (The dude not the sword)
Japan had it be Logos Prime so hey ho.
π: 0 β©: 1
RexBlazer1 In reply to Dehaxis95 [2014-01-09 18:41:52 +0000 UTC]
I thought IDW didn't have the 13 in their continuity.Β Though you could make a slim argument that their Knights of Cybertron are their versions of the 13, but we'll have to wait on that.
I guess we can just consider this issue as a "To Each Their Own" thing.
π: 0 β©: 1
Dehaxis95 In reply to RexBlazer1 [2014-01-09 18:49:39 +0000 UTC]
Oh IDW was going to do their own story about the 13 which got canned along with the Hearts of Steel storyline since Hasbro only wanted movie comics back then (2007)
I guess it could be a each to their own but if you take something like Gobots (Leader 1 and all them) They don't have the first 13 in that world.
π: 0 β©: 1
RexBlazer1 In reply to Dehaxis95 [2014-01-09 19:32:01 +0000 UTC]
Maybe, or you could look at it like this: The 13 are so far back in their history that they lost all records of them at some point.
π: 0 β©: 1
Dehaxis95 In reply to RexBlazer1 [2014-01-09 19:34:46 +0000 UTC]
Maybe, Like the Shattered Glass world would have the 13 being evil apart from Megatronus Prime who would've become "The Fallen" but that means the Fallen was a good guy.
π: 0 β©: 1
RexBlazer1 In reply to Dehaxis95 [2014-01-09 19:40:48 +0000 UTC]
Perhaps, although Primus wasn't evil in that world, so maybe the 13 became corrupted by Unicron in Shattered Glass and The Fallen fought them to death, and thus they died before they could leave a recordable impact.

Dehaxis95 In reply to RexBlazer1 [2014-01-09 19:46:36 +0000 UTC]
Or maybe Cybertron was Unicron in Shattered Glass since Vector Sigma in SG made evil Transformers mostly.
But to be honest Shattered Glass has been done to death at this point.

I once did a story where my OC was taken by Decepticons to a lab like base then he was hooked up to this machine that took him to a computer program called the "Shattered Glass" program which was how the Decepticon turn some Autobots into Decepticons by making them think the Autobots are evil and blah blah blah.
Which to be honest that story was better then Shattered Glass overall.
