Description
The class C30 is a type of 4-6-2 Steam locomotive built in kantai islands from 1934 to 1941. A total of 300 locomotives were built. Another 5 locomotives were built for export to china in 1948 and 1953.
The class was withdrawn from regular passenger workings in December 1980.
As of 2014, 20 Class locomotives have been preserved in kantai islands , of which 2 C30 1 and C30 100, are preserved in working order
