The SE decided to download itself on my computer, but I haven't played it extensively yet. Just loaded a save to check out the pretty lighting. ^^ But hey, the bugs are still there, which means when I do start playing it, there will be comics!

i bought original skyrim legendary edition when i got it on special for steam.
apparently i recieved the special edition free of charge. its in my library, but ive so far not bothered to get it.
i prefer the HD mods and immersion mods on the Nexus for the original version.

If it really boosts performance it's probably worth it. Still, a quest DLC would be nicer if they don't want to make a new game yet

Performance is greatly improved which is why it's superior. With SE being 64bit your hardware gets used much more efficiently.
