Amazing attention to detail!
The diagonal motion indicating the direction of the slice.
The stained sword rusted by blood.
And if course the fearless, cold expression of sigfrid in mid battle, determined to end with no mercy. At least it seems that way expression wise, heh.
Usually whenever you draw an elder scrolls piece, it lingers in my message centre so i can look at it again and again. And for some reason, Vasek, which has been in my notifications box for over a month, reminds me of my cousin roger.

Anywho, lovely work as usual Angie.~

Dude, this is an epic portrait!! I love the way you've captured her in the midst of battle, with blood spilling, sword swinging - the sense of movement and action is distinct and well done! I love how gritty this is. The textures are wonderful and the colour scheme works perfectly. You've got such a knack for grunge & intensity. I admire the way you create such detailed pieces of artwork. Amazing work!!

"Looks like she's part of the problem to me" - any self-respecting Gray-Mane when reading that title.

500 years is indeed too long for such a lovely iteration of Sigfrid to come up on my watch list.

The blood feels a bit 'oily' (nothing wrong with it, really; it simply is 'oily'), but those eyes, they mean murder... I mean: business!

All in all, a gripping portrait, as if captured in the heat of battle. Kudos!

Oh my GOD you remind me I mispelled the title XD For once I forget the e instead of adding one for no reason haha!

I've neglected Skyrim a little bit... I played more Left 4 Dead 2 than anything else lately haha I've restarted my Sigfrid game though so I think I'll be back to drawing more Elder Scrolls stuff in the future.

Ahhh then I'm on the right path to better the way I draw blood XD It's really tricky to draw cause you can't really go out and get a real life reference of that because... well for obvious reasons LOL

Thank you!

Blood is not a taboo subject and you can extrapolate a lot of information from empirical evidence.

For instance, the longer a wound bleeds, the thicker the blood gets (thanks to coagulation). It's safe to infer the following: the first trickle of blood is much more liquid in appearence than the rest of it... I could tell a lot more, but that kind of information might sound a bit -er- weird.

As winter draws ever closer, 'tis only fit you play anew in the frozen tundra of beauteous Skyrim! Happy Imperial hunting!

Well yes, observation is key to drawing, but I can hardly see myself cutting myself open to look at myself bleeding XD A lot of fake references are either too liquid for the amount of blood there is or way too thick for very little blood... It takes forever to find suitable references and so far all I've seen was just meeh haha. And word descriptions only do so much x.x I don't have much blood to paint or draw in jobs so it's not too much of a big deal at least, so it's not like I don't have to know how to draw blood perfectly by tomorrow XD For now until I have time (and the need) to sit down a really do in-depth research, as long as my blood doesn't look like water I'm good with it XD

YES I am so excited for winter. We had a little bit of snow today so I'm super excited XD

Who spoke of cutting oneself? As one wise Bosmer used to say about axes: "When you hack off an arm, the blood spurts out in surges."

Lucky you: we never get snow in Belgium!

XD I'd rather not do that. nah. XD

We had more snow today. I think we're gonna have a LOT of snow this winter xD; Wait, Belgium? do you happen to speak french by any chance?

And Dutch... not that anyone ever bothers asking me about THAT language.

You're Canadian, right? Seeing how 'enthusiastic' you sound about my ability to speak French, I'd say from Québec (ai-je raison?).

Well I figured that it would be your first language or something XD But that's awesome how many languages do you speak?

And oui, I am from Quebec XD French is my first language haha.

4: the aforementioned languages plus German... Dabbled in Japanese, but I just know a few basic phrases (really like the way Mandarin sounds, though).

Anyway, that's enough French out of me; believe it or not, but I find English less tiresome to chat online (heck, I even got a German friend of mine to chat with me only in English). It's a good thing, getting to know more about such a wonderful person like you, but I believe this goes beyond the appropriate comments for a drawing... Looking forward to your next work of art!

Afterthought: didn't want to sound abrupt (but might have). I don't often interact with other people and I can be a bit discourteous. Hope I didn't offend you in any way. It IS a pleasure to meet other people and get to know them more!
