Oh, my, you don't know how much I've been desperate for art of Loki that's not patterned after that dark-haired impostor from the Marvel universe (although I've been told I shouldn't discount him.) My patron approves.

Very nice! Although, as I understand it, Loki wasn't out to hurt Balder with the mistletoe thing, but simply to gift him to Hel, who had a serious thing for the guy. (Hey, a father has to look out for his little girl....)

I love your version of Loki. Loved your other drawing of him, but this one is even better. It's exactly how I picture him when I read the eddas. Lean and handsome but still has sometime hidden just beneath the surface. So good!

I am not a christmassy person, but I really love how you drew this. The colours are so smooth and flowing, and the anatomy is so wonderfully drawn, accurate and pleasant to look at (in other words he has a good figure lol). I really like how you did the hair all flowy, and the little details in the face, the eyebrows that look patchy (though I can tell its just the way they grow in, it looks natural) the shape of the smile and the lips, it all looks so pretty.
I don't think I would join him under the mistletoe, he doesn't seem like my type , but I might be pursuaded if he were very charming XD
