I noticed I didn't have any posts of my fav OC cat-boy, Cheshire
so I made this in my new multi-media sketchpad
you will be seeing more of him someday
I prefer non-textured paper, but that stuff REALLY expensive and hard to come by
oh well;;
materials:
PrismaColor and Reeves watercolor pencils
Tulip slick black acrylic fabric paint
Liquitex [professional acrylic] INK! -white
steps:
base was done with pencil,
than traced lightly with watercolor pencil on base
base was erased
watercolor pencil used and colored [no black/white, light shading]
added water, 1st to skin, let dry, than to hair [makes layers clearer]
added texture to hair with watercolor pencils [dry]
shading strengthened, some watered, 3rd layer plain
white a tiny/thin brush, painted on eyelashes and black on ears
watered down black for extra shading on hair, darkened shading on skin, and light shading on eyes and ears
White ink for shine on eyes and blending shading on eyes and ears
no stealing! he is mine >:c

I know. It's just looks like a completely different picture to me.
That's why I didn't post my paintings for so long. I had to color correct them, etc. before they looked like what I had painted.

I -did- color correct, but it's not easy when you can't separate the parts of the image,
I'm working on it still, will re-post
