Description
oh snap now i feel like a jackass. i will miss Petting Zoo though. but... the world's give a little, take a little i guess. soooo LOL JK U GUYZno but srsly i ment wut wut i sed ):
this is still a frownie face.
______________________
even in those ancient times, Bastaat was a dump compared to what it used to be. but it's still the place in time to which... *cough* some of us... would give anything to return.
OPTIONAL:
Toreas (Terry back in his homeworld) and a weee li'l Tofilius in some of the more beat-down ruin that the herd claims for their home, deep in the mountains where few humans go. (they know who lives there.) the weak and fearful human beings even constructed a monolithic idol in the Ox king's image at the entrance to the mountain pass, hoping he'd be... flattered enough, i guess, to be sated to stay there and not venture down with his monstrous kin into the prairies once more. they leave crap at its feet. sometimes the bulls bother to go down and pick it up, because y'know. they leave nice stuff. gold and virgins and such. infrequently though, because it's a long walk just to get the mail.
relative peace time between the Aurochs ascelli of the east and the humans inhabiting the coastal region, pinned there by their presence. the peace cuts short very soon. but no gloom and doom, this is supposed to be a happy picture. okay... a bittersweet picture. :/
as for revisiting this world in depth, well i'm muckin around with that side concept again. no further comment. this leg of LOA now has a permanent place in the storyline called Time Again. [link]
TECH:
- 100% vector
- very rushed, from a brief silhouette drawing i did.
- recommended soundtrack, Chrono Trigger - Kingdom of Zeal - Time Chill (ocremix.org ) BUT DEAR GOD SKIP THE SAX SOLO. it's gay up the butt and out the nose. srsly. keyboards ain't bad, though.
- whew! DA finally fixed the god-awful category selections.

Not at all. I try to sift through the masses. Eats up the time, but sometimes awesomeness shines through. Then I run to class.

That's a beautiful silhouette, man! For some odd reason, I thought the second pillar from the right looked like a standing PS2 *shrug*.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I adore the detail work, particularly on the neck and tail of the adult - Terry, was it? The birds also strike me; not ofen you see storks that are actually recognisable. If any of your other work is like this, I'll have to watch you!

This. Is. Simply. Amazing.
You are one of a kind. Reminds me of Timon and Pumba when you could see their silhouettes behind the greenery.
Thank you for sharing.

Great silhouettes, especially the bigger one.
Is there a chance you'll make a non-silhouetted version of them?

I like this a lot. Something about the simplicity about it just rocks. I like the anatomy of the Terry and his kid in this picture.
As usual. I hate that you can do something that fast with vectors while I'm going through painstaking trials with Photoshop. *sighs* oh well, at least I own at photoshop fuckage, lol.

i used to be an airbrush artist too once y'know
but i'd cheat and use vectors to lay down my color forms and then just shade them over with brushes. that's what i had thought my great use and calling was when it came to vector. when i did a picture without them, i felt so badass.
now look at me...

Oh wow. I was wondering for a moment what that giant thing in the back was. Why I didn't register it as a statue is probably due to the fact that I'm still a bit asleep-ified.
I think I like Terry best as Toreas... Even though I'm still not used to the usual erection. X-D
The atmosphere of this picture makes me wanna turn into somesort of sexy cow-chick so I can go live there. Maybe I'll find a way to get the humans to leave me at the foot of the mountain as a sacrifice or something...
But part of me is saying that's not a good idea. (lol)

that's actually how terry's first kid was born, the bastard-y one that he shuns when this new kid is born. his mother was a human that was left at the foot of his statue to die. his bull tribesmen give him static for keeping her alive let alone LOVING her of course, and when the kid was like 7 he sends her away. "YOU PUSSY YOU SHOULDA KILLED DA PUNY HUMANZ! YOU'RE SOFT ON HUMANZ! we don't care if you're the king you can't just do what you want >/ " and then he hates humans for a very long time D: that makes his first son sad. sad to the max.
hmmm... so it was a good idea for a WHILE, but eventually, neh. i'm thinking if her departure should be A BIT MORE TRAGIC than "...and then she had to walk all the way home." but i don't like throwing death around like it's free or somethin
HE DOESN'T ALWAYS HAVE THE ERECTION ROFL but.. that'd be rofl.
thanks for liking this! the ambient lighting and the music i was listening to made me feel the same way. "hmm i wish i was there "

ROFL "Sad. Sad to the max."
Oh wow. See those bulls are just like guys today. "OMG!! We don't like yer girlfriend!!" And then what does the guy do? He leaves her even though it makes him sad.
Faggots.

For something so simple in the way of colours and textures, the elements are incredible and make it look so...atmospheric.
The blue and orangeyyellows give it a great contrast, Makes me think of sunset in an overgrown forest. The poses of the characters is cool, I like how even though they're silhouetted you can still imagine them there. And it fits.

dude thank you; this is so fucking simple. there is literally nothing to it. but people ate it up. it's like, the story about the naked guy. you know that story? moral: the public is gullible.
adoring, and appreciated, but gullible
it's a sunrise, but i have no idea how to differentiate the two either. in a world without smog it's kind of hard to do/people probably care less about the color differences.

I don't know that story no. XD Maybe I would if it was explained in more detail.
I think it's the simplicity that makes it, though. It lets your mind fill in the details and so it's more...appealing? And it is a good use of complimentary colours.

yeah, i bet if you were actually there it'd be all hot and wet and gross, like at 8 am in Florida in August.
i like Terry's animal body too. i think i like the half-n-half deal better than the all-human one. obviously he can't go everywhere like that though ¬_¬ sucks. thanks for liking the kid too, i had trouble on child-proportions. why!? this is anime!!? i used to have trouble making my people NOT look like kids. >.<
