...moving along,
Akira Toriyama is the entire reason i got into anime. which is what shaped me, i believe, as an artist and writer. after years of Chrono Trigger and of course, where it all started, Dragonball (and my big ridiculous crush on Vegeta. )
whom oddly, when i drew him on here in 2008, i drew in my style. huh.
so the other day, when i was leafing through an old artbook of his given me by ~RKLemieux and ~StitchFacedAngel during the artblock of the last few months, i was moved to do this thing you see here.

so it's not dead-ooonn... because it's been a long time and i was never REALLY great when i was like, 14, but i really like the marriage of my old old art habits based on idolizing Akira Toriyama with my latest and most dear story project Law of Averages, because they feel worlds apart. it's like my childhood and my adult life coming together to say, "hey, we still define the same person. neat."

i love that kinda shit.

so enjoy a chibi Ox King in my derpy little homage to Mr. Toriyama.
it was difficult to suppress the urge to play "Terry" or "Toreas" together with "Toriyama" somehow. i... chose the uh... the classier route, here.
three nights' work over a week and a half or so. i lost track, shit's hectic.

...might do a Ka.
