The cartoon B5, with his adorable not-even-subtext crush on Superboy was always fun, it's interesting to see a slightly less "cartoon-y" style.

Personally, I'm glad they didn't go with this design. Brainy looks much better in purple. And the face is a lot more friendly, for Brainy anyway. XD

i really like it the only thing i dont like is that his uniform has green on it to people souldn't were outfixs that match there skin .......

Love him! Been in love with him since i was 8 (when the show first came out) really wish they made a season 3 and started the B5 supergirl romace, great job by the way! Your style sorta reminds me of Bruce Timm's style

This is something I like about the Legion series designs: Short Sleeves. So many superheroes wear cover-all onesies, but giving the characters bare arms exposes their all too fragile elements (skin) while simultaneously showcasing their strength (biceps), so even though most of them are aliens, they very human as a result.
Brainy's golden locks are an especially nice touch because they seem so at odds with his sickly green skin and shifty red eyes.
Nice gentle downwards lines help glide the eye from head to toe. All very nice. But yeah, I'm glad you added some purple later.
