Marker comp for Shadow Lass. We never got to work her into the show unfortunately. I doubt if this skimpy a costume would have got past the censors though. I don't think this is based on any one Shadow Lass design. The great thing about the Legion is that they're a designer's delight because all the characters have multiple costumes and they're open to interpretation. I'd love to do a long form dtv of them someday.Related content

True, The Legion had so many costumes changes., but if the target audience is children, the 1950s looks would be a safer bet.

Echo the designers delight. The Legion in general is just madness so you pretty much get free reign.
I have always wondered where the limit is drawn exactly in regards to clothing. This is only a few lines from Aya in GL:TAS.

Kinda looks like something Frank Frazetta would have designed.
I like this illustration, but her draping loincloth (is there an actual name for what that thing is called?) Since its the same color as her boots and appears from under her crossed knee it has the unfortunate side effect of looking like she has a third leg.

It would have been awesome if Shadow Lass had gotten on the show. The fact that it got cancelled before this is really quite saddening.
The 'designer's delight' thing is essentially the reason why I seem to be unable to draw any Legionnaire in the same outfit twice. I just keep coming up with new ideas.
