Second pitch comic explaining Kell-El's powers for Legion of Superheroes season 2. I wished we could have incorporated the techno cape into the show somehow but I think Kell was cooler for not needing no stinkin' cape.Related content

A Cape might have been an interesting development if the show had continuing as a visual sign of growth and change after his mission was "complete" and would have perhaps started taking after his predecessor.
The mask however just makes him look like a Wild West bandit, especially with his dark eyes.

Amazing, amazing Ideas. I loved the character of Kell El, I was indeed going to put a drawing of him on my galerie.I think I recall we did not see the mask and the cape idea in the show. Those are clever and cool ideas anyway!

No, we didn't get a chance to use the cape or the mask idea in the context of the show though i would have loved to. I even have a design around here in my office that looks very similar to the new 52 Superman design
