Yeah I know but I just had to design a SEGA console.in this case the Dreamcast 2. I wanted to make it look like a Updated version of the Dreamcast but with some twists.
We have are usual Power and Eject buttons but the Logo is also a button. just push it to change the color of the Lights.
It has a Disc system that works like the Wii (Also called an Eater Tray)
It would have 1080p
The Home Menu would be like a cross between the PS3 and the Wii's Menu system.
It has rubber feet on the bottom to keep it stable and has vents on the sides, and it has a matte finish in stead of a glossy look so that way it won't attract dust as often and you won't smear it up with finger prints.
I'd go into more detail but that's all that I can say.

even though SEGA tapped out of the console wars because of money, SEGA does have the money and time to be reborn as an console maker. from what i had heard from my classmates at lunch, SEGA is planning on releasing an dreamcast classic version that can take on the NES classic. also from my classmates, SEGA is going to make the dreamcast classic region-free and backwards-compatible with the original dreamcast. with that, you can play Japanese dreamcast games such as baldr force exe. all of that is only an rumor at school. i think its time for the new generation of gamers to learn of SEGA's consoles that made video gaming fun in the first place. SEGA never lost their hope, and they never will with the help of Sonic's fame.

That would be nice, but it's only a rumor as you said.
But if by some miracle they do make it back into the console market. I'll be here when that day happens.

i sent an motivational tweet about this to SEGA an few minutes ago. the tweet might be an major factor for an miracle. the tweet is in the form of an "console challenge", so SEGA might get the appeal i wanted the tweet to appeal like and hopefully the tweet will get SEGA in the mood to build an console. if that tweet fails, i'll just do that "just do it" tweet.

but SEGA never stopped believing. lets have hope that SEGA will be resurrected. they had gotten better, and they will get better behind the scenes. they have all the money and time they need to make this happen. all there is now is for them to decide whether they are ready to tap into the console wars yet again.

Only way this could happen is if Microsoft and Sony died. Things could return to the focus of having fun, rather than graphics >.<
Also would help if ppl stopped thinking only/mostly about Sonic every time they hear Sega, so they don't have to keep on putting him in every new idea they wanna try.

Well consider how fast Microsoft is losing fans due to the Xbox One's number of failiures

People would be exstatic to see SEGA making consoles again plus they're way better financial shape then they were in the 90's and early 2000's
They have gotten better and they're improving them selves.

well umm no sega said they wont be making new systems its to much of a risk for them. and they are making more money as a 3rd party since they can benefit from not just one systems sales but all of them
Sony,Microsoft,Nintendo and PC
besides while i like sega i just dont think they could make it. they'd have to deal with sony,microsoft and nintendo who basically for the past decade they have owned the video game market and sega only just start building its self back up as a good company.
besides i like em as a 3rd party its better cus i can buy their games without having to buy a new system. and in todays economy would make it harder for them
back in the day they only had to out do mario and nintendo but now they have sony and microsoft.
even if they are doing better. its just not good for them anyway

as sega is video game company only which means thats how they make their money
microsoft makes money from computer's and programs not just games.
if they mess up to where they stop making video game systems they will just make games for the pc only
