Description
In the 1950s, Xaiz'ux Xuz, an alien from the planet Elaet in the Andromeda Galaxy, fell through a wormhole and landed in the Sol System. Deciding to settle on Earth temporarily, he repaired his ship and environmental suit with technology borrowed from Counter Earth and established himself as a superhero named Spaceman X. The suit was design to allow him to survive in Earth's deadly oxygen-rich atmosphere, enhance his strength, and was built to disguise his alien proportions to better fit in. The bubble helmet was equipped with a holographic system that made his face appear human. He used the human shape in his stint with the Apex Society in the 50s and 60s. When he rejoined the team in the 80s after a period of exploration, he adjusted the hologram to display some of his alien features, while still mostly appealing to human aesthetics. By the 90s, he had abandoned this altogether and decided to show his true face to the public.

There are a few characters in the Apex Society Universe inspired by the Martian Manhunter, and Spaceman X is one of them. This is also the first entry in a Space Opera side-project of character and creature designs set in the AS Universe I'm planning based in the Andromeda Galaxy.
