Aw, thanks Tij!  It's weird (and scary ) looking back on some of my old stuff, especially the first IZ pix I ever did and seeing how far I've come ^^  Of course it's a lot easier now that I can do it all on the computer and in something besides MS paint (I seriously think that's what I used on the old one), but it's still crazy looking at the contrast sometimes.  
Luckily I've been on vacation for the past few weeks and was able to work on a lot of stuff despite STILL being busy every weekend somehow but it's back to school junk next week (and hopefully I'll be starting my job in the library soon) *sigh*  A whole month and I still didn't get half the things done I wanted to -_-  But such is life ^^

That's probably a good idea for me, too, if I didn't already have a ton of classes  AND I'm starting my new job in addition.  I'm really happy I got it ^^  The other library girl told me after she gets her work done, she mostly just sits and does homework or messes around on Facebook, so I'm thinking it's gonna be pretty easy and quiet most of the time (our library is really small and almost always  empty except for people using the computers), and maybe this even means I can catch up on my DA comments and notes and stuff (pshh, yeah right XD).

Heck, at least they let you do that! My work has a "absolutely no phone during work ever" type of policy even if you're just standing there starring at nothing. But hey, they didn't say anything about drawing, so I occasionally whip out a miniature notebook and pencil hehe

Psshh, some companies are like that, mostly I'm guessing from certain people ruining it for everyone else by messing around too much.  I'm actually sitting here getting paid to type this as we speak  So far I've only been working a few days (not even a week),  but wow, is it super easy so far  We're such a small school, and since we're closing our head library guy is only going to be coming down from Chicago once a week to check on things, so it's pretty much up to me and the other student worker how we want to run things.  So far I've just put up new magazines, tossed the old ones (and OMG, I get first dibs on all the magazines we get rid of, and they're ALL art related!    That is one awesome perk, lemme tell ya, as those things can be insanely expensive), and checked out a few books.  And I'll definitely have a lot of home/work/drawing time  Ooooo, PLUS I get to go in the faculty lounge now...  (lol XD  So dumb, but I was like, "Yay!" ^-^)

It's a typical teeny-bop job I only work once a day for, so I can understand the whole limit on phones. Most of us are teenagers and apparently people get fired a lot for not being all too committed.  I did switch up what I do there this year, so there's not as much time to myself anymore- a positive for boredom purposes.

But hey it sounds like you got a sweet deal going there! Throwing out magazines like that sounds like a waste! at least they let you choose if you want any of them before they get rid of them! There's a lot of jobs that would fire you just for rescuing some of those items from the trash. And hey, access to the faculty lounge sounds a bit like the teacher's lounge to a middle schooler Hehehe I would totally feel the same way. I mean...imagine a real live coffee maker IT DUN GOT REAL.

Haha   Yeah, it just made me feel all weird at first cause students aren't normally allowed in there, but then I was all, "Wait... I'm FACULTY now!"  And then I felt special lol   And they DO have a coffee maker in there!  Woot!

Actually, we put the magazines in boxes for students and teachers to take if they want them, so they don't all go to waste, thankfully   I HATE wasting stuff (I had to do that ALL the time when I worked at a gas station, and it broke my heart when we had to throw out perfectly good food, knowing someone else could have desperately used it  Even if I couldn't take it home, I just wish that someone could have used it, like why the hell couldn't we donate it somewhere!?  Terrible, terrible wastefulness in this country -_-  And yes, you could get fired if they saw you taking it.  Even digging it out of the dumpster would get you canned at that idiotic place).

You know I'm replying to this on my first day entering my college building and I am pretty overwhelmed by the fancyness in here...it feels so modern .-.
I know how you feel about wasting stuff... My costumers drive me nuts sometimes! 9 out of 10 will buy maybe a small cup of fries and then take, I kid you not, half our supply of napkins! They will sit there and strip them out of the dispenser one out a time and I'm like...you need one to maybe wipe the salt off your hands but unless you use one napkin PER frenchfry, those will all end up on the trash! at least they're usually pretty preservative with our paper trays (which is really good since we usually don't have many unless the box is new) but I'm guessing that's because nobody wants to tow one around. It works out at least xD

Well, life has calmed a bit, but next week I start school again (and hopefully my library job-- for some reason they're dragging their feet on this thing).  It never ends    But it's better than sitting around bored all the time ^-^  I just wish I'd gotten half the stuff done I'd planned to while I was on vacation.  Plus my favorite teacher (you know him, you've talked to him before) is no longer at my school, so that's a huge bummer  I'll really miss just goin' up and shootin' the shit with him after class.  But at least I got to be in his final class, and it was a really awesome one

Well, to be truthful I had a TON of stuff planned, so there was no way I was going to get to all of it  I did get a lot done, including the two comic pages, so I'm pretty happy with my turnout ^^  There's never enough time for all you wanna do, is there *sigh*  

I know, I'm really bummed about it  Since our campus is closing next fall, he simply had no more classes to teach, so that's why he left.  Though he IS still registered as a substitute, so if they need him to fill in I might be able to see him there (I told him I'd cough and hakk on every single teacher as often as possible-- hell, I'm always sick with something, so might as well put it to some use XD).  He lives by me, and like me and my aunt he likes to go to flea markets and stuff, so I'll hopefully see him around once in a while.  And we can still e-mail each other, so there's that, but it really isn't gonna be the same.  Well, on the plus side I'm starting my job on Monday  I SO happy to have lucked into this thing  And the other library girl told me it's super easy-- after she's done with her stuff she just sits and does homework or messes around on Facebook.  So even though I have a VERY full schedule this quarter I can still have some time to work on school stuff/personal projects/DA socializing/ect.
