It wasn't just that the image made me laugh, which is really did give me quite a good chuckle. It was that your comments made me laugh harder. Your art brings smiles and I need all the smiles I can get. My best wishes to you!

I wonder what's inside the box?...Poor sweet kitty...

Aside for the adorableness of Mr. Kitty, the subtle tilt of the box really helps the whole image stand out for me.

I never noticed the tilt before! I think I like this even more now. Thanks for the comment.

I bet it's a box full of umbrellas. My cats are terrified of them.

Very cheerfully! A cat catching a leaf, originally. And I am simply admired by its muzzle, * a smile * and eyes! Very lovely!

He really looks desperate in trying to think outside the box, lol. Awesome drawing, I love how expressive the cat is.

Hehe, wonderful expression! ^^ And such smooth colouring, too. And the simplicity of this... How could I not like this! : D

Haha, wonderful. Absolutely priceless. This is so the next background for my computer... if you're okay with that, of course. May I?

Hahah, just like a cat, too.
Do you, if you have any cats, use yours as a reference for some of your work?
Just curious, I find that even though I have cats, I'm better with wolves and stuff, although I do sometimes use my cats as small references for a few things.

Yes I have (four) cats. I sometimes use them for reference but most of the photos I take of them aren't that good and they don't like to hold still for me, so I often look up refs online or in calendars if I'm in need of one.

Oh, that seems like the more logical thing to do.
I try to take some good photos of my cats from time to time, but they decide to move right at the last minute, as usual.
D<
The new kitten I got what... two days ago(?) holds still for anything, he's such an odd kitten.
oo;
What type of cats do you have?

Spectrolite In reply to Prosta-scootch [2007-08-09 23:33:30 +0000 UTC]
They're all mutt-cats. The only female is also the only longhair. Two of 'em are rescue/adopted critters and the other two (brothers) were pet store cats.

Oh.
Well, glad to hear that you decided to adopt a pet from, I assume, a shelter.
It's kind of rare for people to do that nowadays.

I can picture that. My cats are all rather clumsy and fall off of most every ledge they come to.

Perhaps. I'm not sure myself. I just sort of put some colors together and called it good.

ha ha ha
very funny!
Is it frightening outside the box or such a dinner inside to motivate the hero?

Spectrolite In reply to JOCAPS [2007-06-03 18:56:29 +0000 UTC]
Heh, thanks.
I guess the outside of the box might be a bit frightening, but it's probably better than whatever's inside.
