Once again, many thanks to *philpem for allowing me the use of his photos as a reference: [link]Trying a new technique on fox fur. After drawing many, many canids, I feel I've developed a sense for types of fur, from the smooth and silky to the thick and wiry. Now I need to practice in order to better depict these qualities-- and you know what that means, I'm drawing even more canids in the future
I think one of the reasons I enjoy drawing animals so much is that I feel a lot more comfortable around them than with other people... words are unnecessary, you can connect with them simply by making eye contact and maybe a friendly pat or two

i think you should add more black modelation..shades...for a better volume and to work on the details more

I am in love with the eyes, not to many ppl can draw the eyes (I am one bcuz i suck at drawing stories are my thing) but you are part of the one group that can do it very well.

Oh, I am pretty certain he does have to keep practicing if he wants to get a firm grip on his technical abilities as displayed and keep it. ~.^
