Or, hell, anything that's actually fucking endangered (I just thought of those off the top of my head) before you start whinging about "SAVE THE WOLVES SAVE THE WOLVES!!!".
[link]
Although the Grey Wolf still faces some threats, its relatively widespread range and stable population trend mean that the species does not meet, or nearly meet, any of the criteria for the threatened categories. Therefore, it is assessed as Least Concern.

The IUCN Red List lists grey wolves as Least Concern.

And do you know how many vulnerable, endangered, and critical amphibians there are?

Oh wait, they're not cute/"badass" enough. Sorry.

Wolves are not fucking endangered. Unless you can show me solid, unbiased evidence, you are full of shit.

Save the California Condors. You know, something that's actually critically endangered?

The red wolf MAY be endangered, but read the description. I think this is aimed at the retarded wolfaboos who claim that gray wolves are endangered.

I know some wolves are endangered, like the Ethiopian wolf, Mexican wolf, etc. Not to be rude.

Interesting fact, the Ethopian wolf isn't actually a wolf. Its closer related to jackals.

If I kill a wolf while hunting, it's probably because it tried to bite my face off

P0WERDRlVEN In reply to KibaWolf1991 [2013-04-26 23:52:42 +0000 UTC]

if people DON'T hunt them for population control, the wolves will run out of resources and eventually cause themselves to go extinct.

Good stamp! But, in my state (Michigan) deer populations are overflowing rapidly, and the hunters can't handle it. So I'm not saying that I'm all on one animal, but yes the wolves (some) are in fact endangered! But m faving you anyway. Great work

Even if a few species of wolves are endangered, I'm pretty sure they'll be saved in a few years.
But there are animals that are critically endangered: the ocelot, the snow leopard, the Javan rhino, the western gorilla, the blue-throated macaw, etc, etc
Stop bawwing over wolves and focus on those guys

Not all wolves. Gray wolves and timber wolves are FAR from being endangered.

the red wolf may be endangered, but you don't have to be rude about it.

besides, there are other endangered animals that are way more important to the ecosystem.

while they may not be classified as endangered, their numbers are greatly declined from what they once were. i live in a rather populated area of the united states, and the deer populations are getting out of control. why? because humans decided to kill off all of their natural predators in the area; the natural balance is upset. i submit this infographic on the usefulness of wolves: [link]
people defend wolves because they are misunderstood, and necessary to the ecological balance (just as any animal is... the trick is to keep them all in moderation).

I think there was a male species of tortise at a zoo the last member of it's species and it died a while ago. The species went extinct because people didn't care.
