I don't even actively hate wolves.
They're just boring, partially because everybody and their mom treats them as the pinnacle of evolution, existance, and whatnot.
They are not mystical, magical, and graceful; they are big, stupid dogs that will rip things apart without remorse.
They're not even endangered. If you want to save a dog, save the freakin' dholes or island foxes, they're actually endangered.
Get over them. Please.
If you excuse me, I'll be off in the corner loving my vermin animals, because as far as I care, opossums are way cuter than wolves are.

I don't hate any animal, but I DO NOT understand the fascination with canines. They're so... common, boring really. There are SO MANY other creatures that are far more extraordinary.

Alright, I normally don't comment on things like this for lack of coping skills for idiocy but bear with me please. Wolves have always been a close bond animal of mine, though I'm not stupid enough to let them in my house -.-'. (seriously, WHY people?) but I'd like to point out, and not for those that have already realized this, we have dogs that are so close to being wolves that we should just focus on them! I personally have a German Shepherd/Doberman crossbreed, and even with such a dog, as sweet as he is, you have to remember their origins. He's bit me several times, on accident of course (I've stepped on him once or twice when he was in my way -.-', and he HATES his paws touched, particularly the front right one :/ no idea...) but I see in his instinctive behavior his predecessors, and I know I DO have a wolf, just a less dangerous one.
I'm a Shaman of the northern tradition, and as such take a fascination with the beasts closest to me, like the wolf, mountain lion, owl, and stag, and I regard them with the cherished nobility ALL creatures deserve, but I am a hunter as well, and before anyone starts, humans are omnivores and have an entitlement to hunt for nourishment. My family doesn't have the money to shop a lot, and a fully grown buck can last six months XD. Saying Wolves are gods...I disagree, but they are important and mystical in their own, wild way, as are owls, raccoons, cats, and even, as much as I fear them, spiders.
So before hating or worshiping a creature, consider what you're doing. Humans are far more overpopulated than most species and I have no problem with them being killed by nature, I mean what gives US the right to be treated with a higher regard than the others, and just saying, saying that a persons life is worth more than a wolfs, or a stag, or a spider...is rubbish. All beings are equal game as far as nature sees it. We're nothing special, but that also doesn't mean anything else should be held above us...it's all a stupid game we play. We need balance, and we have it naturally.
