quick question, when you drew the lineart, did you go over it with pen, or did you just use pencil then scan it?

I feel like an idiot... ok, you colored the hair, but how did you make it so you could still see the lines from your line art?

Other than that, I've looked through several different tutorials, yours has helped me the most.

Again, I thank you for teaching. For me who is not very self confident, it was very important to see how great work as yours comes to life. I never thought, that I would be able to handle PS and do things like you showed me. At the moment I try to color my first picture in PS since two years. I thank you a lot, because you gave me the courage to do so. *bows*

I loved reading this one. What I find interesting is that you can create such depth with such a rather simple process. You make it seem really easy, even though I know that this probably takes a lot of talent and effort to do (computer graphics programs and I don't mix, so I think that it's marvelous that you can do all this with a mouse!).

All the colors you use to create highlight effects on dark hair work beautifully together ^^ Like I said before, it's really interesting to see your technique and how you approach coloring your pictures. It's helpful even if you don't have photoshop or even use a computer to color.

^_^

thanks but as u know i didnt start off with this but through progressing and failure...XD
through ur work can reflect how much u can grow from the very beginning and how u will accelerate later on...
Im really glad there are ppl lik u who actually comment with very distinct descibing and also it very kind to do so ^.^

Yes, I can see that you put a lot of effort into learning and growing! The improvement in your artwork and your willingness to experiment is very noticeable! So yes, good luck and you're very welcome!

Wow, this really is useful and so simple, even I can understand all that. Since my Photoshop is on my own mother tongue, the names of the tools are different and sometimes when people try to explain me what tools they used, I don't understand what they meant because some of the names are really different in my language and the names surely aren't translated straight from English. (who the heck translates these programs...)

But it was really nice to see how you do the hair, since I like to put a lot of effort on hair coloring. I learned some useful tips, thanks to you and skin coloring tutorial was good as well. ^^ Thank you so much for good tutorials! You're a good teacher.

I just wanted to let you know... x3 thanks for these... I've wanted to try CGing, but it's difficult winging it on your own... I'm hoping to try this out...my only problem is that I have PaintShop Pro 8, and not Adobe, so I'm stuck looking for equivalents. Hopefully I can get it, though...

btw... x3 you have very lovely art. I envy...
