Description
V.1I wanted to see a futuristic Hyrule wrought with pollution and intensive mining. This is Hyrule City, dotted with skyscrapers and flying cars. In the distance you can see Goron Cityβa vast mining facilityβat the base of Death Mountain.
Here we see Link casually sitting on the ledge of a building, eyeing the sun rise over Goron City with his binoculars. Next to him is a grey cucco.
While this world is fresh in mind, I would like to expand upon it.

i always thought that the goddess Hylia and the triforce goddesses were a space aliens from another world that evolved over time, and settled in ancient hyrule to mess with the evotion of the species.

Really cool concept, and so beautiful! I love the dark silhouettes against the sky.
But um, "eyeing the sun rise over Goron City with his binoculars." ...is he trying to burn his eyes out? Don't look at the Sun with binoculars. (Sorry, stroke of boring realism. Still gorgeous work!)

Heh, this piece feels so outdated. The sky is far too yellow and both Link and the Cuccoo look kinda ridiculous. Maybe I'll revisit the concept sometime, but 'future' Zelda has deviated far from this assumed form in my mind. Hyrule is a cyclical world stuck infinitely in a fantasy loop that I doubt will ever develop into such technology. The closest we've seen are the Ancient Robots and their remnant kingdom of Lanayru in Skyward Sword, and even their pristine technology borders that of magic.

This is a really unique concept. I love how you kept the medieval spires with the more modernized skyscraper setting. Really great piece!
