Dr STEPHEN STRANGE,the sorcerer supreme of this reality,was recently attacked by Victor von Doom (Venom-Doom ) , who defeated him and stole the eye of Agamotto.
Stephen noticed that not only was doom bound with the venom symbiote, but he now wielded the mystical sword Excalibur!
Whatever his intentions for taking the eye, Strange was certain they where not good.
Doom would certainly be prepared for strange to enter Latveria and try to retake the eye, he would need
allies if he where to succed, allies with great magical power.
MERLIN: Merlin the wizard, sorcerer supreme of a past age, possesing great knowledge of excalibur.
Merlin was more than reluctant to travel through time to assist strange, but when strange told him Doom now wields excalbur
he agreed to help.
With him, he brought the Ebony blade. A sword that, like excalibur, has the power to "cut through anything".
He allowed Strange to wield it, so Doom won't have the advantage when it comes to magical weapons.
SATANA: Half-demon. Daughter of Satan himself,brother of Daimon hellstrom,succubus.
Satana, unlike Merlin, quickly agreed to help. The reason for this, she had begun sensing a magical object residing in
latveria that radiated with a bizzarly uncomfortable aura. Strange had only just begun sensing it(if he had had the eye
he would have sensed it sooner.
MAGIK: Illyana rasputin. Mutant, magically connected to the dimension "limbo", wields a soulsword.
Illyana told strange that she had begun sensing this object much earlier, in limbo, claiming that its energy traveled through
dimensions. She immediatly joined.
...GHOST RIDER?: "whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR".
the question is, is this Thor with the Spirit of vengeance, or is it a new Ghost rider, worthy of mjolnir...
In any case, he was able to identify the magical object: A cosmic cube! Magically altered....by Dormammu!
This altered cosmic cube, this...chaos cube, was draining energy from their entire dimension.
Once full, it would send it all to the dark dimension, to Dormammu.
Strange now believed that, with the eye, Doom would use his vast magical knowledge to try to drain the chaos cubes
collected power into himself.
But would he really do this? Would Doom risk damaging their entire universe to gain power?
It was a risk they could not take, and so they went to Latveria.
Strange now wears the coat of deception. Capable of hiding the wearer from those wo can "see with magic".
This to prevent Doom from sensing his arrival.
Above Castle Doom, a huge mass of swirling symbiote surrounded by light could be seen, and at the center, Doom himself.
Strange and his team prepared to attack, but Doom was not alone.
He had two powerfull allies at his side.
TIGRA: Greer Grant Nelson, who in this reality, has been allied with Doom for quite some time.
Beyond her enhanced natural abilities granted to her by magic, she's also bound to the Moonstone.
The Moonstone grants her several abilities: Flying, becoming intangible, fire energy beams and further increases
her already strengthend natural abilities.
It was Doom who found the moonstone. Surprisingly, Doom did not desire to have the moonstone bonded to him, so he
gave it to Tigra.
It is believed Doom helped her master her magical abilities, and stabilize her body and mind.
The other, is a for more enigmatic character...
COAT-OF-ARMS: Wears Tiboro's coat, a mystical piece of clothing which grants additional arms and the ability
to store magical objects in its pockets(size and quantity seems not to matter). He call himself Tiboro, as an homage
to the coats creator(or simply as an excuse to not reveal his real name).
Most of the magical objects he possess,while rare, are rather weak in power.
The magical chain however, is mighty. Capable of binding and incapacitate anyone, although
it can be easily removed by anyone else, the one who is bound remains helpless.
He approached Doom shortly after he had acquired Excalibur, claiming to also sense the mysterious energy(from the chaos cube)
and wishing to assist Doom in dealing with it in any way he could.
Victor von Doom,naturally, did not trust nor care for his help, but Tiboro had information, very specific information
regarding the mysterious energy,its purpose and its creator.
The battle was fierce, and it seems it could have gone either way, that is until Tigra dissapeared...
Doom soon fell, outnumbered by diverse magical abilities.
But, as Strange then discovered, Dooms intentions where infact good.
Aware of the chaos cubes effect on their dimension, knowing it could rip apart their whole reality, he
took the eye of Agamotto to use in unison with his own power and knowledge to dispel the magical changes from the cube.
With the threat against their reality increasing every second, he did not have time to convince Strange to give him the eye,
nor did he believe that Strange would believe him, considering the many villainous acts he has commited.
With Strange trusting Doom, the spell could now be resumed, but Doom was not the only potential threat here,
and excalibur was nowhere to be seen....
