In honor of the recently released Skin Game, here's the latest set featuring the Denarians! Been a while since I've done one of these. Nothing like reading the latest book to get yourself hyped up for the series again.ΒThe Order of the Blackened Denarius (or the Nickelheads as Harry likes to call them) is an organization of men and women in possession of thirty ancient silver coins, said to be the same ones Judas was paid with for betraying Jesus. Each Denarius coin houses a Fallen angel, which seeks to bond or control whoever possesses their coin. They are led by Nicodemus Archleone, host to the Fallen angel Anduriel, and the oldest and most powerful of them. His daughter is Deirdre, whose demonform uses her prehensile bladed hair for weapons. His wife and rival is Polonius Lartessa (Tessa), host to Imariel, who takes the form of a demonic mantis creature. Thorned Namshiel is a Denarian with considerable skill in sorcery.Β

These are all very nice.
One thing though, isn't Deidre blue or purple or something along those lines? Though then again, she's described as both at some times, so maybe she's just whatever color she likes or I've missed where she's described as green.

For some reason I always imagined Deirdre as having blue scales and be more feline like. And Nicodemus, being 2,000 years old, would be shorter than that. Latessa is also a slip of a girl, something like a 15 year old. That's Butcher's description.

As for more Denarians, we'll see, most of the others are 'one-shot' characters though, and the others would be too big to fit into the image.

I WANNA READ SKIN GAME ALREADY!... Sorry. My english isn't good enough, so I have to wait for the bloody translation AND IT IS KILLING ME! That said, I always thought the "Nickelheads" were a great idea, and I always liked Deirdre best. Seriously, she has blades as hair! Can't stand Nicodemus, but the other two look cool, too!

I sorta recall a description of her flying towards Dresden at different points in Small Favor and Skin Game, so I imagined her to have wings.
I remember it described as having her face appear after 'peeling off' her insectile head. sorta like a skin mask.
