Combining Broly with Specter was just too fitting not to do!
Broly(Dragonball) is a Sayian that can transform into an enormous,powerfull, dumb monkey.
While Specter(Ape Escape) is a super-intelligent ape with telekinetic/telepathic powers.
And the hair...they both got that super sayian hair!
With his telepathic powers, Specter took control over Brolys mind.
He then used him to invade the world of the Kai's and steal the Potara earrings, which
allows two people to fuse together.
Brolys enormous might, combined with specters telekenetic powers and intelligence,
a nearly unstoppable force.
With Broly mind controlled during their fusion, Specter thought Brolys personality would
have no influence on his after their merging, this turned out to be true...for awhile.
Until he came across a certain warrior named Goku.
When he did, he felt an enormous amount of rage building up, and suddenly found himself shouting
"Kakarot" at his adversary.

So, we're talking about a super intelligent psychic, in the body of Broly in Legendary Super Saiyan form where, he's immune to physical damage short of being on a whole other level to him, can fly, has ki blasts, and keeps getting stronger. Yo Goku, you may wanna send this guy to Hell!
