Y'know, this could be interesting, neither Venom nor Mewtwo are strictly speaking antagonistic, their experiences shaped them, I suspect that Venom (I know it enhances negative emotions but hear me out) had bonded with say, a priest or someone whose job it is to stay positive, then it might have turned out quite a bit better. Mewtwo would probably be far nicer if not for everything Giovanni put him through and probably painful genetic modification because, he's supposedly a clone of Mew, yet looks nothing like Mew. Ergo, there was some gene modding involved, Meaning, the two could commiserate, as such. Could be interesting if done right.

Yeah the Venom Symbiote itself isn't evil, it was an outcast of its kind(for wanting to bond with its host, rather than gradually consume it).
Mewtwo Similarly(albeit very slight) could be seen as an outcast, due to being a clone and not really having a place in the regular world.
Could work out well!
Buuut i think Mewtwos anguish + venom feeding his anger will just lead to him going Bonkers EVIL!

To be fair, he got better. Sorta. Though I do have that movie in VHS which I still rewatch now and then for nostalgia's sake. Just, the scene where Ash strides in with all the Pokemon behind him, just glaring at Mewtwo is epic. Plus, when he gets stoned. BADABABADABYE!

Say what you will, but I like him, cool design, AWESOME voice, absurdly high stats, and wide movepool meaning he can cover every one of his weaknesses, plus extra, Shadow Ball for other Psychics, Moonblast or Aura Sphere for Darks, though Moonblast is also good against the mighty DRAGONS, Psychic for STAB, and another, I usually go Thunderbolt.
Yeah, I teared up as a kid when I saw that, just seeing Pikachu futilely trying to shock him back to life though I fail to see how their blasts turned him to stone, no move turns your opponent to stone that I know. Then again, anime logic. It needn't have any.
