Description
The Remembrance-class frigate was a class of frigates utilised by the United Nations Space Command, which served between 2512 and 2678; seeing several major galactic conflicts including the Human-Covenant War, Remnant War and Swarm War. Commonly referred to as the UNSC frigate, the mass-produced Remembrance-class frigate was one of the most common and long-serving UNSC Navy vessels in service; as a result, its image and presence was often seen to symbolise UNSC naval power. This was in stark contrast to the terrible rate of destruction experienced by the class during the 2525-52 Great War.Serving in large numbers throughout this war, the Remembrance-class frigate was ineffective and inefficient in destroying vessels of the Covenant Empire not due to any flaw in its design, but as a result of the inherent superiority of Covenant technology. Seeing action at every major engagement of the war, the role the Remembrance-class frigate played in the war is often underestimated as a weak, ineffectual, disposable warship fielded against the Covenant to draw fire from more valuable warships. In reality, the Remembrance-class made up what it lacked in armament and resilience with speed, agility and versatility, and could attempt almost every role or task equally. The Remembrance-class frigate was a true multirole warship, designed to operate in a range of roles and with combat abilities against enemy warships, starfighters, surface targets and stealth vessels, and equipped with a variety of guided missiles and gun systems. This was in contrast to the highly specialised Daring-class frigate, which performed electronic intelligence, surveillance, anti-stealth and orbital insertion tasks almost exclusively; and the Vanguard- and Warrior-class destroyers, which were designed to perform escort tasks and direct combat with enemy ships.
Thanks to a modular construction and significant technological advances since its design, the Remembrance-class frigate was continually upgraded and refitted throughout its service, extending its lifespan and preventing it from falling into obsolescence. In 2561, nearly a decade after the conclusion of the war, the class saw its most extensive refit yet; being equipped with advanced power cores and armour technology, a fully modernised armament, enhanced sensory and targeting equipment, and the UNSC's first mass-produced warship shield generator, which drastically improved its performance against opposing vessels. These technologies were engineered by the UNSC under assistance by the Sangheili and Huragok species, allowing Human technological knowledge to drastic change in a relatively short number of years.

Remembrance class? Granted this is a good peice of work but I'd like your source on remembrance class, there were 3 frigate classes between the reach era and modern post covenant (pre halo4) era. Paris, Charon and Stalwart, what this looks like to me is a Paris class frigate, the heaviest of the three and most well armed, designed for combat role like the stalwart whilst retaining much of the charons logistical capacities.
The Paris class its self was seen in Halo 2 and Halo 3 as background ships, the main difference from Amber clad, a charon class being the much thinner belly fin structure.
Anyway, before I go running off to much I'd like to see your source if possible, if my info is out of date then I've made myself look like a right twat to a handful of Halo fans across the net XD.

You're right about the canon information. This is a work of fanfiction intended to meld all the frigate classes into one. I've never liked the canon idea of explaining away graphical/design differences between games as completely separate classes.

I just prefer this style over the HALO 4 style. Don't get me wrong, the HALO 4 style isn't that bad, but... this style just has more... personality.

Both classes of Frigates are cannon design. They just ret-conned the Forward Unto Dawn into the Strident-Class with its experimental features. The Charon, Stalwart & Paris classes are still cannon and in service in the UNSC fleet (the classic frigate design). Updated with modern drive and shielding systems.

But the FUD changed structurally. Yes, it's canon, but it makes no sense why the FUD undergoes a complete change in appearance from HALO 3 to HALO 4. While the Master Chief's armour DID change from 2 to 3, the changes were very minor, almost unnoticeable, such as the plating on the top of the hands (there were five holes on his hand plates in 2, but in 3, there were only three). But 4's design is a complete overhaul of aesthetics. Some I don't care about, like the new frigates, vehicles and the like. But when it contradicts the physical appearance of a previous game to such an overt level, I don't particularly approve.Β

It is simply a retcon, I do agree with you about how it breaks your own perceived connection with the series. But that isn't nearly as important to me as the narrative is. So I can let it pass.

i also make similar changes to use on my own universe, main version is called Archangel, it enter service in 2475, followed by Andraste in 2498, then Paris in 2515, Charon in 2521, Stalwart in 2531, Talos in 2548, and finaly the Remembrance in 2550., Archangel was the original while all others were subtypes. This is created for my HALO story.

Sorry, but I do mind. You can take anything by Bungie and redraw it, that's nothing to do with me, but you can't redraw this particular image or all the details I've added to it. I've uploaded it here and it's protected under a derivative copyright which prevents people from using it themselves.

no you didnt understand, i doing currently all the subtypes of the UNSC frigates, and i want to include your version as well, each frigate is diffrent and since i drawing in MS paint and in diffrent style ship would only looks similar but wont copy anything for it, i do all using my parts, i ship itself was mearly a copy, once i finish it and upload to wolf shipyard you can visit,
no worries, i do not use your ship, parts, its all by me and aresVIII

My version isn't canon, it's fanon, so there's no point you copying it, that's plagiarism. Instead base it on Isaac Hannaford's concept for the UNSC frigate, called UNSC Andraste, which my image is based on.
I've seen you on Wolf Shipyard forums discussing using my designs, and I want to make it absolutely clear that neither you, nor anyone else, has my permission to use them.

chill down, after all your own version is based on that of andraste(paris), and everyone can create their own versions if they want of it, i dont have plans to copy your work, and even if i give the proper credits, but since you are not friendly i am not gonna copy it,
you may see discussion on forum, you also may see my work there, there is no copy of any kind i take a template and i work on that, after all i didnt even do it in same fashion you do, my ships are quit diffrent, i only wanted to create whole familly of the main (prime) ship andraste or in my case archangel,
sry if i disturb you or you feel insolted,

Well, recently established canon sets a 'Charon'-class as a subclass/variant that appeared in Halo 3. Personally I don't like the 'cheap' shortcut of explaining the graphical differences between the games by just giving them all different classes. In my own expanded universe, the Remembrance-class is the class name and all the variants are just subclasses that are taken out of service post-war.
