this is a new character that i'm pretty excited about. he's the second son of one of my favorite characters, miles, and he's got a twin sister. they're gonna be an awesome pair.

the background photo is one i took in New Zealand (which i visited for a month on a study abroad/geology field camp program). it's on White Island, one of the country's most active volcanoes, and it was freakin' awesome. definitely my favorite part of the trip, which is saying a lot because we went all over the country.
