Monthly Community Challenge - Foundation
Adel's whole world revolved around his parents, Cleo and Dorin. They were his sun and moon, always by his side when he needed them, ever present and comforting - the bond the three of them shared was utterly unshakable. When the humans arrived on the island, Adel and his parents were among the first to race after Malaysia, running together as they always had...for the last time.
If he had known how that day on the beach would end, he would never have led them there.

This is SO incredible, and my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE THING BY YOU SO FAR. I can't compliment it enough! From the story-book style of the background, to the amazing different shapes and distinctive faces of each character design, the absolutely PERFECT timing of the gif with the gradual flicker, eventually moving into darkness with Adel's heart breaking expression and the soft, understated, blink and you'll miss it stains of blood where is family had been. Overall this is just exquisite.
Adel come here and I'll hug it better. JUST LET ME LOVE HIM. I need to love him.
