i just find them painfully unfunny sexist and chauvinistic
star trek and humor alwys walks a very tight rope sometimes it works ( the trouble with tribbles trials an triblleations star trek 4 ) and sometimes it fails miserably ( the outrageous okona star trek 5 and to me indeed the mudd episodes )

well its a book actually
and a very good one at that an indepth look at the back of the scenes going on of star trek tos and how it was put together
( and ultimatley sabotaged by nbc in season 3 )
its a great read and you shoudl look in to it

it has a sequal (movie memories ) but i foudn that dissapointing it was mostly about the "politics" in movie making and scripts and directors very little about the special effects and actor anecdotes which made the first book so great
