Rafei's concept art for Jak 3's Errol was pretty badass in my opinion. He had so much potential to be an amazingly deep and awsome villain, but instead he turned out to be a nut-job. Naughty Dog should've left him dead. I had drawn this a long while ago, but i felt it needed retouching. It also gave me a chance to try out a new technique i heard about the other day (who knew the white colored pencil was actually useful?)Related content

That guy has so much shit on him so that if it was a PS1 disk that had him in it, in order to have a full view of him on screen, eveything else in the same scene as him would have to be blank in order to have his full body on-screen. and thats for him standing completely still. that was repetative

Yeah, I wish we could have seen much more of him in Jak 3. He may have been a villain, but he seemed kinda distant. And somewhat of a coward, since he never really faced Jak himself, hand-to-hand combat.
But Cyber Errol is still badass. Like said, he certainly had much potential to be a deep and awesome villain. And even though he fell short, he'll still have a special place in my black heart.

What i am asking myself since i played jak 3 for the first time: Who the hell made Cyber errol? I dont think that he carried hisself from the raceway and made a new body.

I'm sure the Baron had Errol taken to the medical department of the KG fortress and ordered his surgeons and medical engineers to construct a biomechanical body for the KG leader. Errol was being rebuilt in secret during the latter half of Jak II.

Awesome character. But i wish he'd stayed as he was in Jak 2 for Jak 3.
