Description
Hate is an unkempt tortoiseshell-and-white cat with two earrings in her left ear. One earring consistently appears to be older than the other. Her yellow eyes are bloodshot, the whites overtaken by a painful red.

Only a hateful curse would befit a cat such as Hate. She’s flippant - foolish and empty. A blight upon your senses, her presence akin to the obnoxious buzzing of a fly that’s grown far too bold. You can’t help but hate that buzzing, more and more as it lingers. Your conscious and subconscious ache to snuff out the sound. And the guilt of ending a life turns so very numb when it's for lowly beings such as flies.

That part is hardly a curse really. You can feel it, clearly. Her arrogance, self-obsession, cowardice and cruelty. The curse didn’t give her these things, simply rendered those deepest flaws bare. Exposed to open air and flooding your lungs. Rancid and suffocating. Hardly anyone can blame you for clearing the air.

But oh, that’s where the real curse lies. Whenever Hate is killed, she returns alive somewhere else in PAIN, to continue her own suffering and horrible presence into perpetuity. Her previous remains quickly withering into dust.

Fear’s group has made a challenge to find which among themselves has killed Hate the most. Love’s group feels no qualms in putting her out of her misery as soon as she’s caught on their territory. And not even Bear’s group allows her to stay - not that she particularly wants to stay around any cat for any length of time, given how her curse thoroughly prevents pleasant social interactions. Same reason Hate doesn’t bother with Drip’s little group and dreams of escape. Even the very environment of PAIN delights in tripping and ensnaring her any chance it gets.

And the Heart… Hate’s never revived inside the Heart, and in the times she’s entered, she’s never been able to reach the top. To find that someone she desperately wants to see again. To know her daughter is okay.

In the mind-numbing misery of PAIN Hate has endured, finding her the only thing left she has to live for.

Besides that… Hate just wants her suffering to finally come to an end. And maybe a good, uninterrupted nap would be swell too.

You’d feel worse for her if it wasn’t so clear to you how much she deserved this fate. That this bloody bed of rubble she lies in, is of her own making. Falling into it over and over again.

edit: Lore!!!!! I've been really struggling to start Free's lore for so long I decided to do Hate's instead. This description might be added onto later? Because I feel like I could have described her personality a bit more, but I'm glad to have something done at least.

I tried to shade this like she's under some tree/brush cover. Not sure I'm completely happy with the result, but it'll do.

Did the same pose as her original reference because I think it really suits her.
