I thought it would be interesting if I gave more of a backstory on the parent's from the Hybrid Hell series, because they can be just as interesting as the hybrid's story to me. How did these dragons from different tribes meet and fall in love?
It's a pretty interesting question that I can't help creating stories for.

Not sure how many of these I'll do, but if I really like a pair I'll probably draw them.

So these are Squall(Sky/Sea hybrid)'s parents; Wildfire (Skywing) and Thresher (Seawing). Thresher referring to Thresher Shark.
Some physical details about the parents: Thresher has always been a little large for his age, ever since he hatched (large as in actual size). He's pretty big, and could easily overpower most dragons his age. Also every time I draw or sketch Thresher, his hands seem to always be large, so I'm just going to make it official that Thresher just has big hands. Wildfire has a rare flame pattern on her wings. This occurs naturally in Skywing's but is still considered pretty rare and interesting to see. The marking is passed down genetically.

These two have a pretty interesting story that I'll do my best to explain.

(first just going to clarify that my whole Hybrid Hell story takes place a long time after the whole Darkstalker incident - it won't make too much of a difference in this story, but just so you know)

Wildfire's mom, Kite (referring to the bird of prey), is a higher-class Skywing musician, spending most of her career playing at royal parties and such. Kite's known to be pretty skilled at any instrument but she's most known for playing a lot of string instruments. She's not quite a celebrity, but she is still respected.
Wildfire's dad, Inferno, on the other hand is a very respected general (even though at the time there weren't any wars involving the Skywing tribe- he was still a skilled soldier and did well not only fighting but resolving any conflict) and has a little royal blood in him. He's pretty high-class as well. Inferno also had the flaming wing marking that passed down to Wildfire.

All through her life, Wildfire can't really remember when her mom and dad ever got along. Inferno was constantly going out to train new recruits and Kite was busy playing at parties and practicing in her spare time. On the occasion Inferno and Kite we’re home at the same time, Wildfire remembers that Kite always seemed to be annoyed with Inferno, while he brushed everything off.
Wildfire spent most of her life with her mother, and has even been taught how to play some instruments. Still, with her mother being so busy, Wildfire has always felt pretty lonely.

During one particularly significant event, where the Skywing queen and Seawing queen met near the edge of their borders to celebrate the peace made between the two tribes long ago after some trouble blah blah blah, there was a celebration that Wildfire’s mother was playing at. And Wildfire was brought along. Wildfire, being a restless, young dragonet, doesn’t find it very interesting and spends her time wandering around near the shore. That’s where she met Thresher who is about the same age as her. Wildfire spent the rest of the celebration hanging around Thresher.

After that, Wildfire and Thresher would still hang out together. Kite was a little unsure about Thresher, but didn’t stop them from hanging out.

Now to focus on Thresher a bit, Thresher was abandonned by his parents at young age. He was in an orphanage originally, and caused a lot of trouble there. He was adopted, but his new parents got so fed up with him they decided to leave him behind, too. But Thresher, instead of sit in an orphanage for the rest o his life, decided he should go on his own. He was almost as big as the grownups anyway.
Thresher does some pretty messed up things, things a serial killer does before they're killing people, like mutilate animals for fun or learn how to create his own poisons. He's pretty fucked up, to put it simply.

Thresher would show Wildfire all the things he did, and Wildfire honestly found it all so much more interesting than her normal refined life. She was the only friend who actually liked anything Thresher did.

When Wildfire's father figured out that his daughter might have feelings for a Seawing, he immediately scolded Wildfire and from then on made sure she was no where near Thresher ever again. Still though, Wildfire managed to send notes for Thresher during this time.

Wildfire notices Kite, losing more and more enthusiasm for her work. Eventually Kite stops going to events. Wildfire suspected her father was making her mother's life so terrible, because Wildfire had seen her father around other female Skywings so often. Wildfire decides to take things into her own talons.

Wildfire uses the poison Thresher showed her how to make, and poisons the drink of a Skywing she suspects her dad has been cheating on Kite with. This kills the Skywing, and when Inferno puts together what his daughter did, he's furious. While yelling at Wildfire, Inferno burns the side of Wildfire's face on accident. But he doesn't apologize. Luckily the burn wasn't deadly, but it left a scar. When Kite hears what happened and sees her daughter she's silent as she goes to her room to take everything in.

When Wildfire goes to check on her mom the next day, she sees her mom had commit suicide. Kite left a letter explaining everything that plagued her life; a once loving husband was now ignoring her, other dragons becoming less interested in her music and finally her precious daughter doing something so horrible. That was what drove her over the edge.

Wildfire feels terrible, after all she was trying to help her mom by teaching her dad a lesson. Wildfire takes the note and some of her stuff and leaves for where she knows Thresher hangs around. Wildfire decides to stay with him instead of her father, Thresher doesn't complain.

Wildfire's father comes after her though, and tries desperately to bring her back home - or at least show him the letter. Wildfire refuses nd gets into a fight with her father, but unlike the time when he burned her, Wildfire had Thresher with her now. Thresher held Inferno down by the throat, so he couldn't breathe fire. And Wildfire delivered the killing blow, by burning Inferno's face.

After that, Wildfire and Thresher worked mostly as assassins if a dragon could get hold of them and thieves when they had no other option.

I'm really sorry it took me so long to upload another picture, I've honestly just been kind of lazy recently, and I had to force myself to finish writing the story here, sorry if it's a little hard to read.
I've got the sketch of the next Hybrid Hell picture, but I need to just get around to finishing it.
