So this came from my 2nd grouping of comic pages I did as a try out for Serena Valentino. Like the other one I did [link] , this one was complex and ornamented. This was me still trying to find my footing in making this comic. I personally really like my 2nd try out series of Hell's Café, it really captures the art style of the time period, and adds a very delicate, and stylized look that's uncommon in comics.

It'd be really nice to see the style continued through out the rest of the book, so that way it doesn't seem disjointed. Unless of course the story calls for some other kind of paneling. This page looks really good! I like in the second panel where the negative (the character all in black) space breaks the panel. The first panel gives a nice sense of direction. You know where the character is going, and it looks kinda spooky.

Then you had to go and post something like this. This is... Painfully beautiful to behold. It really doesn't appear to be a pivotal moment in the comic or anything like that. Damn. I have to learn how to do comics all over again with you as my point of comparison. Damn you.
I will go back into the darkness now.

This is the first of your work I've seen, but I must say it looks absolutely stunning. I especially love how you designed the frame's. It gives them a whole new life that's so beautiful!
