EPIGLOG~ (For some reason on the last panel I wrote "Prolog" Yeah.... That was wrong... XD!! LOL!)

Recap~

"No need." The older woman said, as she held up her hand to stop the boy. "Gwendoylyn is my grandaughter after all. I would've done anything for her. You should know that by now.... Kevin." Verdona winked at the boy, and in a flash of light disappeared into the night.

Silence waved heavily in the air once Verdona had miraculously vanished once more. Ben of course was the first to break the 'ice'. "Well... That went better than I expected." The hero glanced at his older teammate once he realized he wasn't recieving an answer from him. Kevin was just standing there with his moronic grin still plastered all over his face, but at the same time, a sigh of relief highlighted over all. Then, very slowly Ben made the mistake of looking over to his cousin.... She, herself bestowed a more coy look upon her features, raising one of her brows in a playful like manner towards the raven haired boy. The hero turned his head left to right several more times before he opened his mouth to say one single word. "Oh come on! Seriously?! Please tell me this isn't gonna be one of your 'victory' things again?!" Ben was desperate to avoid this scene or even the thought of it. The whole idea of it was just too disturbing for our hero to even whitness such a thing... Ever again...

The hero of course, spoke up a little too late....

Kevin and Gwen ignored Ben's protest and quickly met in the middle, embrasing each other in a heated kiss. No words needed to be said. Just the feeling of being near one another, holding on to what they thought they had both lost moments ago, all the love, sadness, hurt, pain, confusion, and comfort were all summed up with this one intense kiss. Hands caressing one another, touching the memories that Gwen and Kevin will never allow to slip through their fingers as long as their hearts continued to beat. All was forgiven.... Tears were shed. Gwen mostly. But knowing that they finally had each other once more, made the battle, the journey, and of course the threat of Verdona, all worth it. Actions spoke louder than words, and this particular action between the two? Spoke volumes.

Of course after Ben's many protests of disgust, fake gags, and heavy sighs of awkwardness, only then did our hero realize?

He could've avoided this whole thing, and just waited it out in Kevin's car....
