Background info:
Born in the US in 1995, there wasn’t anything noticeably odd about Sarah until it came time for her to socialize with other people her age. Rather than take interest in the other kids at school, her attention remained on the various creepy crawlies around her. The behavior quickly dubbed her with a negative reputation with the other students, who viewed her as weird. She was bullied, but not to the point that there was need to complain. Her behavior concerned most of her teachers, mostly due to her seemingly anti-social behavior. Rather than interact and play with other students, she would find a place way from everyone, where she would sit and play with bugs. This behavior remained relatively unchanging throughout her time in school. So the reputation of the “Bug girl”, never left her. Come the later school years – the end of middle school, start of high school – she began taking on other traits.

The most unnerving of which, being her behavior of staring at people. When she wasn’t occupying herself with school work or the insects she held such an interest for, she was staring at people. The trait easily earned her the nickname of “Creeper”. It was a name she later took to using instead of her legal title. Her seemingly out of place fascination with creepy crawlies was more than enough to keep people from developing an interest in dating her. She never seemed to portray any attraction to people – male or female. She was just an odd girl, by all accounts. Towards the middle of high school, that odd behavior increased tenfold. It seemed that she was never without some sort of creature on her. Crickets were in her locker, spiders on her backpack and in her hair. Crickets crawled around her desk and followed her around. It was as if some disturbing force drew them to her.

Those she lived with seemed oblivious to these things – or rather, they didn’t care. She had no known father, and her mother was far from nurturing. She had no siblings. Teachers called to ask questions, which more often than not were left unanswered. Once or twice child services were called, but nothing was ever found that could lead to anything being done. Nothing could really be done about anything. She was just an odd girl, and the creepy crawlies seemed to follow her wherever she went. In time she graduated high school, and shortly after she began living on her own. But, not because she moved out. It was Creeper’s mother who moved away. To another state where she could do as she pleased. She allowed her daughter to stay in the house she moved out of. Creeper’s mother paid for the electric and water bill, while she was responsible for paying for everything else herself.

She paid for what she needed via the money earned from her job at a well-known pet store. She was one of the few employees capable of dealing with the various animals that most viewed as scary. Around a year after graduating high school, she began going to college.

-Creeper harbors mild supernatural powers as a result of being exposed to black magic. Her mother had toyed around with dark forces while pregnant, which resulted in the unborn babe being tainted.

-Creeper holds a strange power over a variety of creatures. The most noticeable, being insects and arachnids. She actually holds these powers with a wide variety of mammals, birds, and reptiles as well. This power allows her to call them to her aid, and keep them surprisingly tame no matter how dangerous they are capable of being.

-Those who manage to get on Creeper’s bad side often find their homes infested by insects, arachnids, and reptiles. The most common infestation is of spiders and local reptiles. More often than not, the infestation starts in the victim’s bedroom. Their bed and the floor will be covered with the disturbing creatures. The infestation tends to last a few days, and gradually spreads until it’s over.

-The creatures that follow Creeper tend to help her perform tasks she finds difficult. It was the aid of spiders that kept her from failing her math classes in school.

-Bug repellant tends to make her ill.

-Creeper’s home is without a doubt crawling with a variety of insects, arachnids, and animals. Enter at your own risk.

-Creeper wears virtually the same clothes every day. She has numerous pairs of the same pants, shirts, and so on.
-The shirt she wears is usually black, and often has a picture of a spider on it in white. Sometimes the colors become reversed. The picture changes from time to time – and usually when it does, the creature that follows her around matches. So, she’s usually seen with spiders following her around.
-She normally wears a pair of black pants. The fabric is soft and flexible, and is in no way comparable to the material jeans are made out of. The pants have only 2 front pockets – none in the back. Sometimes the pants are light gray.
-Creeper’s shoes are black and usually dirty because she doesn’t bother to clean them. They are dress shoes, and have no laces or straps. Her socks are long, and are either black or white.
-She carries a shoulder bag with here wherever she goes. The bag holds her wallet and all its contents, snacks, loose change, and usually spiders can be found in it. So pity the fool who tries to steal her wallet.
-On days where she feels chilly, she tends to wear a hoodless jacket. The jacket tends to be dark brown, and has a few holes. The pockets are usually full of sweets. Sometimes the jacket is black and in good shape.
-Creeper rarely wears her hair down. It’s normally pulled back in a ponytail. However, after a shower, she tends to leave her hair down. It will stay down until the following day, or until she leaves the house.

Abilities:

-A variety of creatures are under her control. Birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids, etc. However, every creature under her control is one she has held and spent time with. She cannot control an animal immediately upon meeting it. Insects/Arachnids tend to obey her upon first contact.

-Believe it or not, she can change the color and state of her apparel. The basic abilities are changing the solid colors and fixing small flaws (holes and rips).

-She creeps people out. It’s extremely rare for someone to be comfortable around her right off the bat. The only reason she still had her job is because she’s capable of keeping every creature at the pet store, calm.

-She is immune to a variety of toxic substances because she has been exposed to them so frequently.
