My new Fursona, Autumn.I adopted her from /
They've finished her ref sheet and I have been given permission to post. Credit for the artwork goes to them.
Autumn is going to act as my Fursona until further notice. She's going to be a bit of a polar opposite of my true self. Pansexual, flirty, open to flings, and so on.
I've decided already that she has a bit of a siren call. Capable of using 'high frequency' sounds (you cannot consciously hear them but they do effect your brain) to trigger specific states of mind.
I look forward to the chaos she'll create.

Someone showin up to comment on a stamp created when I was trying to defend Ray.
Just another jackass who believes that calling a character trash, calling the character and creator sluts/pedophiles/rapists/bitch is justifyable, and believes that that and other such behaviors qualifies as a legitimate critique.
Feel more like it was them trying to get me riled up. I disabled comments on the piece, and if they start harassing me via comments after telling them to leave me alone, I'll block them. Not in the mood for this shit.

I can't believe people are still pestering you over that. I don't think it's that unwarranted?? I still thing the statement on the stamp is pretty legit? Like, dude, if you WANT a critique on your damn character, you ask for it. But a critique doesn't mean you be a bully. Doesn't mean you be have to be gentle and lying the whole way through, just means you don't have to be an Ass.
It amazes me less and less what moronic assholes people can be.

I generally enjoy the concept of critiques and reviews.
But looking at a picture (or a group of them) and deciding that the character absolutely has to be a whore or a slut, then telling that to people, it NOT a critique.
Looking at a handful of pictures with no apparent relation to one another, and deciding that such HAS to be some sort of canon to the character, without at least ASKING the creator about them, is NOT a critique.
Calling a character a slut, bitch, whore, sue, or so on is also not a critique if you do so without knowing ANYTHING about the character or your background.
Reviewing a character is not just looking at a picture and deciding that you know everything. Reviewing a character means you do your goddamned research, say what you know, discuss it, point out good and bad things, and then offer some helpful feedback.

Agreed. The aspect of appearance and pictures is -at most- only ever about 1/3 of the full total of the character and yet people get so wrapped up in it, they forget there is a character BEHIND the picture, as well as a person behind the screen who might have poured their heart out for the character.
You've actually got to ask questions and go into critiquing a character with both an open mind, and non-bias towards one way or the other. You have to be able to better compose your words and be able to describe flaws and faults as well as things done well for the character. More than anything, you should fucking avoid the word, 'SUE' cause that already puts you in a position of childish. If you can take the time to describe what's 'sue-ish' about the character, and you NEED to if you actually want to help someone, than you could have omitted using the made up term altogether.
