Info:
#1. Light/Ice Dracoictis
Thrives best in cold environments. Reptilian scales lining its face, stomach, and tail shimmer in the colors of the northern lights. Horns and mystic crystals radiate with raw ice energy. An excellent companion for Ice mages. Very skilled at treating burns. Surprisingly drawn to warm places. Loves to casually cuddle. Not a picky eater.

#2. Grass/Poison Dracoictis
Enjoys forests and fields. Scales have devolved to the point in becoming a slick skin; thing the feel of a frog. Thankfully not toxic to the touch, but has a fairly lethal bite. Will spit venom and those is dislikes. When anxious, horns and mystic crystals radiate a toxic aura, poisoning most nearby creatures. Only skilled mages capable of treating the effects of this poisonous aura are advised to purchase. When calm, gives off a faint wooden smell. Also comes in handy for anyone interested in a life of casual gardening. Even eats plant damaging pests!

#3. Mana/Wind Dracoictis
Well adapted to a wide range of environments; and well loved by many creatures. A healer! An adorable furry noodle that floats about in the air like smoke drifting through the wind. Adores sweet things. Reptilian scales are very smooth and glow in response to intense feelings; so also makes for a good flashlight. Suitable for mages of all ages and skillsets; but also strongly recommended for children.

#4. Dark/Water Dracoictis
Has incredibly thick but very soft fur, all things considered. Naturally very quiet. Brings with it a perpetual dampness, so cuddle with caution, especially if its cold outside. Very fast swimmer. Good at providing water when in a tight spot. Not great with children. Gets along well with the introverted mage who prefers to keep to themselves while reading books. Finicky eater - changes food preferences spontaneously, but is very independant and will go off to feed itself whenever an owner fails to provide suitable food. Surprisingly forgiving by nature despite its broody disposition.

About the Dracoictis:
Also known as "Dragon Weasels", these are small wyrm style dragons whom have both fur and scales. They have small horns given the size of their body; but long claws that tend to be quite sharp. These creatures are generally easy to care for and get along well with humans, making them a popular familiar for those whom explore the magical world. The largest of these dragons can reach around three feet in length, though the general average is only about two feet. In most cases, the Dracoictis travels alongside its companion by literally draping its long, flexible body around the neck and shoulders of their owner. They make adorable little squeaking sounds when excited, but are also known to bark when particularly energetic. When feeling threatened, they will hiss loudly and fluff out the fur on their bodies to make themselves look bigger. Only a few members of his species are capable of flight, making it a breed that is generally terrestrial in nature. Most Dracoictis live underground in dens. Females will have up to six offspring at a time, laying small eggs which hatch only a few days after being laid. The hatchlings then crawl around to seek the safety of the mother's pouch, where they will latch onto a teat and feed relentlessly for the following week; tripling in size before being weaned.
