They run a (Faded) Laughing Jack RP/ASK blog on Tumblr called petrifiedrainbows, and they recently added Frankie (Who has gotten very popular).
Last night, we more or less decided that if Frankie DID have a pet, it would most likely be a bat.
Long story short, I sketched a bat which came out oddly well, despite my never drawing a bat before, and I decided to color it.
So, lo and behold! Felxy, the Little yellow shouldered bat~! ( picked the name~)
For some info- his body itself is 3 inches (Half inch longer than normal for his species) and he has a 14 inch wingspan (About 2 1/2 inches larger than normal).

Story:
Felyx is a bat bred by a witchdoctor who liked to raid graveyards for fresh corpses. His entire purpose of being bred, was to hunt down, kill, and eat the pests that aid in the decomposition of corpses. He feets on roaches, flies, rats, mice, worms- anything that would eat dead and rotting flesh. The witchdoctor bred them for this, so that corpses would be as fresh as possible and still as in tact as possible, when they went in for their graverobbing.
The same witchdoctor also bread moles for the same purpose- the moles would remain around new graves and devour all insects and worms/grubs/larva that approached them. Some moles even went INSIDE the coffin, for added protection of the corpse.

One day, Felyx was doing his duty in the graveyard, when he happened to spot a certain undead bounty hunter by the name of Frankie. Due to Frankie looking a lot like a corpse, the little bat was complled by his training, and breeding to guard him from anything that may try to "Aid in his decomposition". Since then, the bat has followed Frankie around, and has even gone as far as to attack those who seem to be posing threat to him- as in his mind, they are graverobbers there to steal the corpse from the witchdoctor.

Extra:
As added note, Felyx is a free thinking animal. While protects and guards Frankie out of instinct and training, he is emotionally attached to the male and becomes distressed when he looses sight of him.

Felyx is NOT emotionally attached to the witchdoctor, because said witchdoctor never associated with the bats and moles outside graverobbing. So, witchdoctor=boss. Frankie=master/friend.

Felyx is protectve of Frankie- to the point of viewing anyone the blonde doesn't like as a threat. That being said, the bat is likely to attack Laughing Jack, Will, and others, for getting to close.

Despite being bread to eat insects and such, he still has a taste for fruit and nectar- which is what Little Yellow Shoulders Bats, normally eat.
