Description
Hidden faries on velvet wings, idly pass me by.
Only can this grace be found
in the common butterfly.
Mellow colors blended well,
paint their subtle wings.
Granting flight so gracefully
to these palmsized beings.
On nimble legs they swiftly dance
across floral petals in the breeze.
Keenly showing off their beauty
from their stages in the trees.
Yet only I can see these beings
for the faries that they are.
Thus, part of me regrets their loss
as I watch them from afar.
So hidden faries, I ask of you-
continue to dance and fly.
Then perhapse, others will notice
the beauty of a butterfly.
